Nope, if you look at all the forums and read them, you'll see that i have a lot to say!!! admittedly there have been a few times where the same message has come up twice. I think it's because the net here really slows down with about 6000 people on the same system. sometimes it doesn't load after i've posted so i have to refresh, and i think thats why it happens. If you want i'll go through and delete all the one's that come up more than once!!!

Nah, too much effort. You're not working long enough to have settled in the bureaucracy-mode, otherwise you wouldn't even have considered that. But that means there's still hope for you

I know, thank God. I only came out of sixth form this summer, did my A-levels. I'm working for a year just to try and get enough money together to go to university.

Ah yes, I think that's the same as finishing the Gymnasium (that's a school, not a training hall, to all you comedians out there) and writing the Abitur at the end. With that in your pocket you can go to the university, in Germany.

Yeah that's right. Do you guys still have that system where you have to pass all the subjects to go up a year and if you fail you have to repeat the year? You also get to go home if it's too hot or too coldf don't you?

I remember one time in high school when it was 17 degrees C in the class room. According to our school rules if the classroom temperature is below 19 degrees C then we should go home but the bastards made us sit there with jackets on and told us we had to used to it and the room would heat up soon.

I go to the german School in Costa Rica, I'll finish the Abitur in the 12th class (unlike in Germany where it is in the 13th). Sadly, we don't get to leave school after certain temperature (damn tropical weather). Though there was some chaos on sept 11 0, becuase the school is sitting next to the U.S. Embassy, so some mother of the younger children came to the school screaming that there was a bomb in the embassy... We got no school for the rest of the day.

I go to the German school in Costa Rica. It's kind of an odd mixture between the German system (Abitur here it is after the 12th unlike germany where you have to finish the 13th:wink: ) and the local costarican system.

Sadly we don't get free if temperature rises or falls above/below a certain temperature. (damn tropical weather).

Nothing interesting happens that could theoretically, make us go home instead of having classes. Most recent, was the sept 11 01, (yeah, very recent) when some mothers of the younger kids came in screaming that there was a bomb (the school sits right next to the U.S. Embassy) It was kind of fun, to see the mothers screaming in total chaos, running thorugh the halls looking for their children.
