How do you dissable respawning?

I've got something special planned for the bounty hunters, but I don't see which line controls whether they spawn or not. I've seen people have heroes that don't spawn before, but how?

under the specific unit there are settings for number of that unit available at one time (so you could have 10 vader squadrons) and if they can respawn (you can make them never respawn).

How? Is there a specific line? I never saw one...I'll check again...

The lifetime build limit is only if you actually build the hero, like in Skirmish. In GC, I don't know how to stop respawning...other than making the hero not a  named hero.

Stop respawning of certain units and heroes in GC would make the game more realistic.

I'm not looking for realisim, though. I have an evil plot to finally get multi-factioned bounty hunters.

You mean you want to enable and disable some units (heros or whatever) at a certain point in game, no matter where they are?

 

That is in the Sandbox.xmls

Huh? Oh, yeah...But if you remove a hero unit, he'll just respawn...Had that problem with my pilot Luke at first. How do I make a hero not respawn? Wouldn't removing the major hero tag cause a lot of problems?

Just put Yes.

Of course, you wouldn;t be able to see them on the galactic map, but thats all. (oh they can be sold too)]

I was looking through the EaW Story Parameneters and guess what I found:

 

REMOVE_UNIT

(object name)

Removes a unit from play permanently.  Used on heroes, they won’t respawn.  Note that this does not distinguish same-name objects, so if used on a generic unit, all units of that name will be removed (though more can be built).

I'm afraid people are going to steal my idea. Could you please wait until tUM V2, then I'd be ok with everyone using it.
