Centurin Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 Can I use the tag to put all the units on the same level? For example, setting it to 0. If that is the case, I can use this to determine scale ratios by measuring onscreen lengths.
DragonShadow Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 Yes, but the ships will move through each other. Their collision meshes only affect ships of their own class (aside from fighters) if I'm correct...not 100% sure on that... http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h65/NightshadowDragon/RyuuKageSIG.jpg http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h65/NightshadowDragon/AoSW-JCW_Banner.jpg
Mr.Caine Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 What exactly is a collisonmesh? http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a105/333Super/BESERKER.jpg
Droid803 Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 A collision mesh is for: 1) Selecting the Unit2) The unit taking projectiles3) Keeping units apart (doesn't do it very well though) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v423/kc1991/droid803sig.jpg"That was fun"

I just want to be able to take accurate measurements of each ship.
DragonShadow Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 hehe, no problem then. ;D http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h65/NightshadowDragon/RyuuKageSIG.jpg http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h65/NightshadowDragon/AoSW-JCW_Banner.jpg
