Obi-Wan vs. Darth Vader

We all know what Vader says when he kills Obi-Wan.  But I wanted to find out what Obi-wan says when he wins.  I know in a equal fight that Darth Vader will always win.  So I lower Vader's health down to red, and I send in Obi-wan to finish him off.  But some how Vader won the fight.

So the second time I tried it, I got Vader's health down to the lowest point that it can be.  Right before Obi-wan goes into the dual, I put force protection on him.  They dual for a while, the protection wears off and obi-wan's health goes down to red,  I use force heal, it goes down as low as Darth Vader's health.  But then obi-wan wins, right when I think he is about to lose.  He says something like "The darkside will never win."  I was playing on Galactic Conquest.  I assume it's the same way with Land Tactical battles.  If Vader is more powerful, it means kept obi-wan away from him.

I know I should try it more then twice to find out if it is random, or if Darth Vader is always more powerful.  I am just wondering if any one else notice Vader's power In a dual.

When the Emperor is around half health, obi-wan can kill him.

I must not fear

Fear is the mind-killer

Fear is the little death that brings total obliteration

I will face my fear

I will permit it to pass over me and through me

And when it has gone past, I will turn the inner eye to see its path

Where the fear has gone there will be nothing

Only I will remain

I've noticed that Obi-Wan Can kill Vader even when they both have full health, but Kenobi can also kill the emperor i believe he is there to do just that.

Yeah, if you dont use obi wan's force powers you are a goner. However, using the powers does not guarentee victory. It is a random thing. My friends and I were playing a land skirmish and after a while we got board with the stalemate so we just sent obi wan against vader. The results varied every time. Most of the time obi lost... :'(

Ok, thats good to hear.  I try it more often to see the results.

beat 2 obis with one vader and never had vader healed. Both obis full health.

Probably because Vader is the most powerful jedi the galaxy has ever known, perhaps even more powerful than Master Yoda!

Obi wans only purose in this game is to kill the emperor, if you see vader run away unless you've got backup.

I disagree.  Obi-Wan is kinda a swiss army knife of the Rebels at that point in the game.  He can be a medic, he kills people easily, he takes out buildings, he can take out vehicles (not as good as vader can, but still, who can?)

i think obi-wan is just... ...terrible...

I think Obi-Wan is one of the coolest Jedi ever, even if he is....human....

hope none of you have forgot, that certain planets give bonuses to force wielders.  some planets bump up the dark side, while others bump the light side...which maybe why obi wins sometimes and get's owned other times.  It's in the XML code on which planet is good for who.  If it remains from the demo.

All the planets are Force neutral now.  You have to manually add that in.

I completely forgot about that...*opens planets.xml and begins evilness*

I know this is kinda a necro post kinda thing, but I found out way it's so hard for Obi-Wan to win.  in heroclash.xml, it says this:

Darth_Vader

Obi_Wan_Kenobi

You may say, "waht teh heck did u post taht fer?"  And this is why:

2.5

1.0

Vader gets a damage multiplier, and Obi-Wan doesn't.  That's why it's extremely hard for Obi to win.
