Yup, First you need to extract the music.meg with a meg extractor.After that a audio folder is created go through there and you will see music files. When you replace them you need to make sure they are mp3s goodluck!

You could also add new music, MUSICEVENTS.xml (or similar) controls what music is played when.

 

Edit: Ok, tried it and it worked. Move a new mp3 file to gamedata/data/audio/music, then add the name of the file to MUSICEVENTS.XML. I added some Republic Commando music.

Actually, you can download all the soundtracks from the game legally right off the official Lucasarts site...which I just did.

do you mean compose new music or add your favcorite song by say system of a down?  well the answer is yes to both if you have a program you can record your own music on or if you have the mp3s already all you have to do is follow the instructions above. its not like starwars mp3s are specially coded lol there all mp3s

and I'm talking about, exampe, in a ground battle when Darth Vader starts killing people to launch "the imperial march" for example

Change the combat music with Darth Vader to "Imperial March" in MusicEvents.xml.

 

EDIT: Hmm, okay, never mind. You can't. You could probably script it in lua once we get a working editor from Petroglyph (I pray that they do give us one)...
