Add it to the list of starting planets in the campaign xml file.

The Starting Forces for the Land dominate the Planets control hence

                                 

Rebel, MonCalimari, Corellian_Corvette

                               

Rebel, MonCalimari, Rebel_Infantry_Squad

Space Indicates Ship available above the Planet via gamestart.Rebel Infantry land troop available via gamestart.

 

                               

Rebel, MonCalimari, Corellian_Corvette

 

This indicates this ship will be available but without any Landforces indicated it will not be owned by the Rebellion at Start until Conquered.

 

Hope this helped. Also you can add Pirates this way to include them to either their units as yours or have the Faction Pirates in. I did this in the Galactic Conflict Camapaign due to no Pirates available to play against.It gave me a bit of change from the Empire vs Rebel routine.

where it says rebel, empire, pirate, ai or sanbox you add CSA faction with ai in your campaigns

so no ideas on how to get my faction to work? also, I've tried to add new trade routes to the campaign xml but it doesn't work.

 

edit: i'm not sure but maybe they are working, I just can't see the green line in between the planets, any idea how to fix that?

You have to edit TRADEROUTES and TRADEROUTELINES (both xml files).
