Guest Admiral_Antilles Posted June 20, 2003 Posted June 20, 2003 I was thinking today after watching Epi. 2 is Count Dooku a name or is the Count his rank in the seperatist movement he involved in?
SOCL Posted June 20, 2003 Posted June 20, 2003 I doubt it's a name, but I doubt it's a rank as well. I think it's more of a royal title he probably achieved during his time as a Jedi Knight, probably dubbed so by some royalty for his deeds.I'm sure by rank, Antilliles, you also meant title, but I have tried in the past and shall continue to try to establish the fact that a rank is not the same thing as a title. dude21 Posted June 20, 2003 Posted June 20, 2003 Its like Lord Vader.Count is the same like an "Earl" in England or "Graf" in Germany. "I am growing stronger with the Force"
ADarkJedi44 Posted June 20, 2003 Posted June 20, 2003 It means he is a Count of his home planet. Sweat saves blood-Erwin Rommel

Thankyou fro clearing that up for me SOCL.
Trejiuvanat Posted June 20, 2003 Posted June 20, 2003 Yes he's a Count in his homeworld. http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
Guest Admiral_Antilles Posted June 20, 2003 Posted June 20, 2003 Yes he's a Count in his homeworld. Does anyone know where his homeworld is?
Bill Posted June 21, 2003 Posted June 21, 2003 I sure don't, but someone will have the answer for you. Count is a title for honored service beyond the call of duty. The force is strong in my family. No, Luke, I am your father.
SOCL Posted June 21, 2003 Posted June 21, 2003 Why was he dubbed a count by his homeworld? I mean, what did he do to accomplish that? (I smell a fanfic idea....) SOCL: Putting the BE in BEAK.Read the Forum Rules - Welcome the New Members - Rebellion Reloaded -
Trejiuvanat Posted June 21, 2003 Posted June 21, 2003 He's from Serenno, he is a count by birth, he used his wealth to impulse his political career. http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
SOCL Posted June 22, 2003 Posted June 22, 2003 He's from Serenno, he is a count by birth, he used his wealth to impulse his political career.Makes sense...typical dynastic politician. SOCL: Putting the BE in BEAK.Read the Forum Rules - Welcome the New Members - Rebellion Reloaded -
Guest Admiral_Antilles Posted June 22, 2003 Posted June 22, 2003 He's from Serenno, he is a count by birth, he used his wealth to impulse his political career. Oh okay. I get it now. I was wandering though were did you find this out trej? Internet? Book? Something Else?

ADarkJedi44 Posted June 22, 2003 Posted June 22, 2003 I'm sure you can find it on the internet also. And that's DarkJedi44 Sweat saves blood-Erwin Rommel
Trejiuvanat Posted June 23, 2003 Posted June 23, 2003 I found that info in the official site... http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
Guest Admiral_Antilles Posted June 23, 2003 Posted June 23, 2003 Interesting, I will have to check the site out.
Trejiuvanat Posted June 23, 2003 Posted June 23, 2003 Theforce.net has better info, but the official site... it's the official.. it's the only one i use for the prequel stuff, because i don't care much for them... http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
SOCL Posted July 4, 2003 Posted July 4, 2003 Sadly the official site gives skimpy and, usually, incomplete information. That's how most official websites are, though. Any how, I prefer TheForce.Net and Dr. Saxton's Technical Commentaries site over the official one and most others. Guest Admiral_Antilles Posted July 4, 2003 Posted July 4, 2003 After checking both sites out I like TheForce.net much better.
Trejiuvanat Posted July 4, 2003 Posted July 4, 2003 Indeed, CUSWE, Timetales, SWTC and the UNJOH make theforce.net better than the official site, for Yuuzhan Vong info I prefer njoe.com over the unjoh... http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
Guest Admiral_Antilles Posted July 4, 2003 Posted July 4, 2003 Doens't TheForce.net have Fan-Videos. I remember watching some a while back though I cannot remember where.
