Hey all, new poster long time forum stalker. :P Have any of you tried single class only battles for the demo? We all I suppose have done the Falcon vs the Space Station, but have you tried everything else? Its quite entertaining and intriguing, I started with just x-wings purchasing as many as I could and then assaulting the Space Station. Lasted about 5Min's, err I mean the Space Station and all IMP fleet gone completely gone. It was insane, but fun J Then I moved up to other classes with varying results ill not tell you how it went as I think you would have fun trying it out for yourselves.

i gfound out that the best & easy way to beat that level was to have  5 correlian corvettes & as many Y bombers as you can get

although having even more correlan corvettes would achieve the same result survival rate is higher with the first combo

In terms of fighter I normally have(in normal demo only)8 Y-Wings and 4 X-Wings.

Protecting the world from those who have an IQ higher than 30! Huzzah!

I agree, if you would be able to totaly mass X-wings you could easily take over the "space galaxy" because X-wings are multy purpose craft.

Agreed, that is why the F.o.F.P. still used it as scouting craft after the e-wing replaced the x-wing.(F.o.F.P. is the nameof the rebellion after the Yu-Zong-Vong wars I think)

Wrong acronym... GFFA is what the New Republic became.  It stands for the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances.  The X-wing evolved into the T-65XJ X-wing while the E-wing came to replace the X-wing in some roles and actually replaced the B-wing in some squadrons (Due to its large torpedo compliment) its of some debate as to what role each fighter plays in the GFFA navy.

Not real Star Wars??  Go!!  Leave this Place!!!  EU is part of Star Wars.  IMO Ep VII-IX are already written.  The Heir to the Empire series.

If you want Death Star cannon equipped Star Destroyers, weird suddenly appearing super-races and endless main character cloning as a part of SW, then I understand why you're so keen on EU. I just think its complete bullcrap.

It bring upon us more of famine, death and war,

you know religion has a lot to answer for.

There's nothing wrong with imagination, I just prefer imagining the post episode 6 events myself rather than reading somebody's insane books that dont even feel like Star Wars.

If someone can name a book series that doesn't involve anything listed below and is good anyway, then dont hesitate to post:

1. Absolutely no main character cloning

2. Absolutely no new super weapons, a new DS is tolerateable.

3. Absolutely no stupid armies or fleets (like a fleet of one billion SSDs or a ground army of one kazillion AT-ATs)

4. No epic Jedi-Sith wars, not too many Jedi or Sith.

5. Nothing idiotic like Chewbacca eating Han Solo's head.

If those conditions are met, I just might, MIGHT look into an EU book.

You're right, Leto, the Star Wars universe is better than the one we live in.

It bring upon us more of famine, death and war,

Try the Jedi Academy trilogy or the X-Wing series. both are expertly written. You could also try I, Jedi which is a side story to the jedi Academy trilogy. Truce at Bakura is also very good.

And when he reaches Heaven,

To St. Peter he will tell,

"Just another soldier reporting Sir,

I've served my time in Hell."
