Attention all users! Please take note of one of the features of this board.

In addition to all of the cool formatting options, these boards have a very useful feature that not all of us need to use all of the time, but there are those that need to use it with every post just about.  I am talking about the spell check button.

 

Some of you (and you know who you are) have already received requests and warnings about the spelling.  While we are not sitting here trying to be spell freaks, there is just no excuse for some of the posts that show up.  And I know that English is not everyones primary language here, but the sad thing is, that these people who speak it as a second language are usually not the ones who have the biggest issue.  What is a personal peeve of mine is when someones' signature is misspelled horribly.

 

The spell check interface is very nice and is fairly easy to use.

I'd also like to mention that if the time seems off, there *is* a way to adjust the time offset in your Profile. Click Profile > Look and Layout Preferences. The board is currently in -6 GMT (Central), so if you are in say EST, you should make "1" your offset, and if you are in Britain, 6, in Pacific, -1, etc.
