Trejiuvanat Posted May 31, 2003 Posted May 31, 2003 At school in between classes and soccer games (within the clasroom) we use the class computer to download stuff. Among the tuff we have been downloading recently are the animatrix episodes. I like them much, especialy the second renaissance stuff. So if anyone else has seen them and wants to comment them I'd like to know what you think of them. http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
Trejiuvanat Posted June 1, 2003 Author Posted June 1, 2003 Yep, they are various episodes that are mentioned in the movies, but won't appear in the movie. Instead they are nin episodes four of which are downloadable from the page and all nine will be in the matrix II dvd, or maybe in Kazaa....Second Renaissace, for example, tells how the conflict between men and machines came to be, of the war, and of how the humans foolishly destroyed the sky and afterwards were made into large duracells.. http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
Guest Scathane Posted June 1, 2003 Posted June 1, 2003 Cool. I can find them on http://thematrix.com? Never mind... found them. Watched them. Great!

wormie Posted June 4, 2003 Posted June 4, 2003 I still have yet to see Matrix Reloaded, do you need to see it before watching Animatrix, or should I run to Musicworld and buy it? Lost a planet Master Obi-Wan has, how embarrassing. - Yoda Do not count a human dead until you've seen his body, and even then you can make a mistake. - Bene Gesserit saying
Guest Admiral_Antilles Posted June 6, 2003 Posted June 6, 2003 Wormie to answer your question, the movies I believe fill in the blank spots of the "Matrix World" plus how it started, what made the machines attack the humans, Etc. Hope that helps.
Guest Scathane Posted June 6, 2003 Posted June 6, 2003 Nice avatar, wormie... Now I get hungry everytime I post on SWR...
the_mask Posted June 6, 2003 Posted June 6, 2003 Well one day before the release on dvd a tv station showed them in Germany as well. I was surprised to see them do this, but I didn't complain Although I had to get up the next day on 05:00AM I fell asleep about at 01:00AM and it was shortly after that episode, where that young guy 'rescued himself', at least I don't remember anything happening later Gotta go to the video rental and see the rest though. I liked 'the last flight of the Osiris' very much, especially the beginning. That was precision fighting and nice to watch as well http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/5183/animated9pn.gifhttp://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://www.swrebellion.com/images/banners/rebellionbanner02or6.gif
ElvisMiggell Posted June 6, 2003 Posted June 6, 2003 Yeah they're quality, i would personally advise that you see the film first though. Elvismiggell. Strike me down and i will become more powerful than you can ever imagine... Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away
wormie Posted June 6, 2003 Posted June 6, 2003 That's what I'll probably do, just so I don't confuse myself. Lost a planet Master Obi-Wan has, how embarrassing. - Yoda Do not count a human dead until you've seen his body, and even then you can make a mistake. - Bene Gesserit saying
Trejiuvanat Posted June 9, 2003 Author Posted June 9, 2003 I haven't watch the film yet, I didn't get confused... I think I didn't get confused.. or perhpas I willbe confused when I watch the film.. Damn ... i'm ocnfused.... http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
ElvisMiggell Posted June 10, 2003 Posted June 10, 2003 Isn't he always? Just watch them both, you'll be fine. Elvismiggell. Strike me down and i will become more powerful than you can ever imagine... Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away
wormie Posted June 10, 2003 Posted June 10, 2003 I think I'll watch the movie first so I don't end up like poor Trej. Lost a planet Master Obi-Wan has, how embarrassing. - Yoda Do not count a human dead until you've seen his body, and even then you can make a mistake. - Bene Gesserit saying
ElvisMiggell Posted June 11, 2003 Posted June 11, 2003 It really doesn't matter what order you watch them in. Elvismiggell. Strike me down and i will become more powerful than you can ever imagine... Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away
Trejiuvanat Posted June 12, 2003 Author Posted June 12, 2003 That's what my friends say too. http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
