They are also fast. So they can be used with A-Wings for hit and run tactics.

it says EVERYWHERE That they are Anti-Stargfighter in this Game.

Yes, well that will be fixed in a mod because every single game has had the *Lancer* as the anti-starfighter ship.

yeah i agree that the Lancer needs to be added as well but that doesn't fit in the timeframe. because it was developed after the TRD was used on the Death Star.

the anti-fighter ship for the Imps but the rebels have been using corvettes for antifighter work since Rebellion. Even in the X-wing games they pawned fighters.

Not really, the Gunship fits that role a little better.

the gunships are still corvette class, just given another name. And yeah, they were better. I usually sent in my gunships first to clear out enemy fighters if I didn't feel like wasting ships.

cool thats a good tactic but i wish there was a unit that could be sent behind enemy lines and destroy the infastructure and lone ships thats what i do on the RTS Sci-fi games i've got they then more ships to where i want them for the final hit, could the Corvette serve this purpose?

yeah Nathan its not Fast enough to do that the Sun Crusher's armour was Quantum layered if i recall but if you just built a sun crusher (without the torps) it would work as a ramming ship.

Well it depends if corvette's suck like they did in Rebellion, but they can probably defeat something in this game.

That broadside cruiser is it considered a corvette because it sounds like a good ship with the long range missle attack.

Also, they are good filler and cannon fodder for a fleet. So yeah probably I'd have a few to soak up some enemy fire and to sacrifice themselves for the glory of the Empire.

Hey Lando!!
