Nevets Posted November 27, 2005 Posted November 27, 2005 I was looking at the heroes annouced so far, and was very surprised to find no yoda, or even a luke skywalker. This leaves the empire with Palpy, Vader, and Mara Jade. All either jedi or force users. The rebels have Obi-wan, way past his prime. Even tho I am pro imp, this games seems to be leaning heavily towards imperial. Superweapons, more jedi, and assumingly more planets at start. Guess we will need to wait and see how this turns out.

And just wait till release...petro needs some secrests lol Problem with Katarn is that during the time period he wouldn't be able to use the force, he wont know for years that he is force sensitive, where as Mara has been exposed to the force at this point. It doesn't sound like Petro will allow you to train characters either, looks like what you see it what you get. I hope there is a mod tho that will allow you to train Kyle and Leia as jedi since they are both force sensitive.

And we can change the lore, thats the point. And Yoda may still be 'round somwhere, Dago is in afterall, and we found that pic with a statue of som1 from his race with a lightsaber...
lordstorm88 Posted November 27, 2005 Posted November 27, 2005 from my experience in dark forces II:jedi knight, kyle had a teacher... who gets beheaded in the opening video. lol Yoda was hiding during that period, and did nothing other than train luke pretty much. now I'm pretty sure that if han solo is in, luke is going to be in too. and maybe, just maybe, he'll be trained by yoda on dagobah even if the technology is up to star wars episode 4

I hardly think it was the training of jedi ruined GB, if anything it was one of its few strong points. and just wait till the clone wars expansions, jedi everywhere But I think the training of some slect jedi in this game wouldn't hurt. Maybe reduce their hp a bit to the point that they single handly can't fight a battle (like delphi said) but they enchance your army by leading it.

I mean the second trilogy focuses on him redemming his father. I'm suprised they didnt go ahead and add Yoda. But I guess its because he went into "exile". Of course in episode iii Yoda tells Obi Wan that they will have to remain in hiding until the time is right. So if Obi comes out of hiding, why cant Yoda?
