Holly-Gan Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 In Rogue Squadron 2 you also saw AT-PTs walking totally underwater, is that possible? Also.. are there AT-PTs in EaW? This is my sig. There are many like it, but this one is mine.http://www.petrolution.net/PetrolutionButton.gifhttp://miniprofile.xfire.com/bg/bg/type/2/hollygun.png
Admrial Joyce Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 In Rogue Squadron 2 you also saw AT-PTs walking totally underwater, is that possible? Or are there no AT-PTs? They were pre Empire Machines but i am not sure if they are in. http://img99.imageshack.us/img99/4305/cap2073na.pngTime to do some damage.
Megajames Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 I thoght i saw so AT-PT's there the same as pod walkers aren't they? Evacuate, in our moment of triumph. I think you overestimate their chances. Please can you post a comment on My clone story, in fan fiction. http://pff.swrebellion.com/index.php?topic=2306.0 (\_/)(O.O)(> <) This is Bunny. Guest JediIgor Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 AT-PT are an older design, aren't they? They were still around back when Alderaan was armed, plus they were found to be flawed and never stayed in production for long.
AT-AP Posted November 15, 2005 Posted November 15, 2005 They are older, but apparently see some action still. Blizzard Force had some with them on Hoth (not seen on-screen), as well as A5 Juggernauts. Guess they aren't so "obsolete" as described before. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a242/CptK/StarCruiser.jpg
Megajames Posted November 15, 2005 Posted November 15, 2005 AT-AP are in for the empire, but some say the rebels have them as well, maybe both teams get them? Evacuate, in our moment of triumph. At-PT's were also all over the place in RS:1 and were seen in a couple of levels of RS:2 so they were far from "obsolete". http://img99.imageshack.us/img99/4305/cap2073na.pngTime to do some damage.
Nevets Posted November 15, 2005 Posted November 15, 2005 The waveskimmers of RS:1 should also be modded in to use on water worlds: http://www.galacticempiredatabank.com/WaveWalker1.jpg
Guest JediIgor Posted November 15, 2005 Posted November 15, 2005 Just because something is obsolete doesn't mean they'll phase it out right away... Acclamators were used all the way in the Battle for Yuuzhan'tar/Coruscant and they've been obsolete for decades .
AT-AP Posted November 15, 2005 Posted November 15, 2005 I think you're mis-using the word 'obsolete'. It doesn't apply to things that are old yet still relevant. The ''Acclamator'' was a military transport unequalled in the Republic and remained so for a long time in the Empire. I don't know the situation around the Yuuzhan Vong War, but they weren't automatically 'obsolete' in the OT-era just because they were old. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a242/CptK/StarCruiser.jpg
