I no longer go to the Lucas Forums unless I am very very bored.

After I deemed this place n00b free, I went here and never looked back.

 

You know... Its kind of odd that I'm listed as the 8th registered user ever. I beat out most of the other regs here.

they just need to wipe all posts on LEC and start from scratch. it may help with some of thier problems. but i dont think that no matter what happens over there it wont get better.

Ban accounts, that usually helps. Make a few very public examples and the rest usually get the idea.

Get some damn good moderators and apply a tougher approach seems to be a good start. The problem is that despite the new staff there, there isn't a great deal of chance other than some people being banned. Even so, some of those who used to spam it and troll are still there. How they can't have noticed them is beyond me. I go there once in a blue moon, and even I can see it.

 

So yes. Public examples. Burn the heretics.

Hey everyone,

 

We're finishing up the general FAQ right now and we will get it posted as soon as we can. Everyone's been really busy and it's been tough getting time to work on it. I didn't want you guys to think we forgot about it or anything!

 

We'll also be posting a Gameplay FAQ and a confirmed unit list at a later date that will help answer some of the questions that keep coming up.

We can only hope. I'd love to see it come out very early December. Any later than the 16th and I'll have to get it on a stupidly slow connection perhaps even have to wait until January for it.

well when you download it, copy/drag it into a storage device and bring it to a net cafe and have fun with multiplayer there or whatever you guys do there.

Sorry for bringing this up, but did it occur to the "No Venator"-crowd that the Victory has been named and sighted in screenshots throughout this year?

 

And that the Venator-info was revealed just a few weeks ago by Delphi-PG? You'd think he would have worded himself differently if he had been speaking about the Victory:

 

I understand people being a bit disappointed, afterall info has only been slowly leaked out so it's hard not to want specific units. =)

 

Keep in mind we are working to make a very fun game based around the episode 4 time-line. Also, we do have a variety of old tech units (EP 3 Venitor) in the game.

 

Just hang tight, Lucas will release more info very very soon. In the mean-time I leak as much as I can.

 

Which he just did with that post. Leaking something that has been known for almost a year is pointless.

 

You'd also think someone working on this game for this long would have asked "Hey, is this that ship from Ep. 3?" And at least gotten a proper answer from people at Lucasarts or Lucasfilm, who would be able to recognize the difference between this:

Also, how anyone could turn a spelling error ('i' instead of 'a') into a completely different word, is beyond me. Bravo if you can do it!

Someone should also tell that guy who spelled 'Vinitir' that lying and misquoting someone isn't helpful to their case. ;P
