Anyone see this trailer in another format than quicktime, please let me know. I can't install quicktime up here at work. Interesting thing is that this trailer isn't on the EAW page at lucasarts and Petro doesn't have the info on their site either.

OMG, I love the terrain/weather conditions in that. Snow... lava... Even the rain is great.

Also I see Han without Chewie, when we know they exist as one unit...

Maybe they can be seperated.

In my opinion it is a good trailer ... but there is still room for improvement.

-The stealing of the X-wing plans DOES seem to be a big deal in the game. My opinion is that that's when the game starts.

EDIT: Lambda class shuttle is in, have we seen them before?

I also counted at least 3 differnt rifles for the stormtroopers. Yeeek, I wonder if its do to different trooper types or upgrades.

According to the new Essential Chronology, the stealing of the X-wings is a canon event which was selected to "represent" EAW in the book. (Or hype it )

 

Nice visuals, though. Only complaint is that we did not see any really "new" units since the last trailer. The people in Petroglyph are sneaky...

 

Still need to go frame-by-frame to study some of the more crowded and blurry shots.

Ok I know SSD's are not in the game and I don't want to start an argument. But when you see the scene with Vader and he's being told that the Rebels have stolen the X-wing proto types. Is he not standing on the bridge of the Executor? I liked how they slipped the story line in about the x-wings. I think this trailer was better than the first. Anyone have any idea who was standing with Han Solo?

Good trailer, not great. Didn't show us, the diehard fans much, but if you were just the casual person who is interested you would learn a lot.

 

Didn't show really what I wanted to see which was new planets and the venator, but I did like the geonosians.

 

I was disapointed when they showed Darth Vaders tie at the end, I had to take a double take, because at first I thought it was the interceptor.

All star destroyers that come off the line from KDY comes with the same bridge setup.

 

Even the tower structure itself is about the same size on all the star destroyers from KDY.

Well, the 2 in the rear are troopers it seems. I'm alittle unsure if the one on his left is another trooper type or a hero.

I am a diehard fan as well and i think it is cool to learn alot about EAW but to me it makes more sence to wait for the game to come out and find out for ourselfes... Nice trailer Petro

Well, it showed some good info, the geneosians, the sarlaac pit, the lava, some terrain effects, darth vader's tie in action...well, at least we have a new trailer!, or what, it is taht or nothing, and the venetor...well, i think petrogliph wants to keep it for a next trailer.......remember that there are still 4 months till the games release!

Not likely. At the time before and during ANH, Vader used at least one Imperial Mk. I destroyer as his flagship.

That was my favorite part, the rainy plains with tall grass. Very atmospheric.

 

I did notice a potentially new unit, some kind of spinning "spider"-like machine. What was that? Delphi?

Probably just thinks it's nice. Funny how I've never seen an Acclamator from the front before. Every picture I've ever seen has shown it from the side.
