Basically, it involves bombarding the surface of a planet, turning it into molten slag. It was a special order for an Imperial force to bombard the planet until the crust cracks, thus making the entire surface uninhabitable. The interesting thing is that a single ISD could do it. If they have bombardment in this game, it will be severely nerfed from the true Star Wars canon equivalent. Yep even with the techology in KOTOR, ships could still use their weapons to destroy an entire planet. Not to the extent of a single ISD, but could still wreck havoc.
