The MC-80, MkII, and Nebula B all can carry fighters, but the CR-90, Gunship, and merauder (no too sure about the merauder) can not carry Fighters, so in the end it would come out to a 1:2 or 2:5 ration.

Darkmark Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 Actually the best counter to fighters is with the medium sized ships, the frigates and cruiser type ships. Fighters can't be a counter to fighters. That makes no sense. Sure the fighter class might work well against the bombers, but while you take those on you've got their fighters punding you. Add a cruiser or corvette and they should be no problem. It's all a matter of balance. It is an experimental ship loaded with Nova-Buster Missiles, designed to cause a system's star to go supernova and incinerate everything. Also, the Sun Crusher is invulnerable due to its construction. There was an excerpt of the Hydra, one of Daala's Imperial Star Destroyers (not a Deuce) being torn apart by the Sun Crusher by simply ramming clean through the Bridge. The Hydra then sank into the Maw.
