ElvisMiggell Posted May 15, 2003 Posted May 15, 2003 Sorry if this has already been announced elsewhere or posted, but here's the link to the news announcement on LucasArts.com http://www.lucasarts.com/press/releases/75.html If they can pull it off, then it'll be the best yet! Jahled Posted May 15, 2003 Posted May 15, 2003 Nintento Gamecube I went out and bought one a while back just to play Rogue Squadron II and the game kept on crashing!!! Not a happy bunny, I took it back and had my credit card refunded. So unless they release it on PC I for one can only gibber and droll from afar... http://www.jahled.co.uk/smallmonkeywars.gif
ElvisMiggell Posted May 15, 2003 Author Posted May 15, 2003 It won't come out on pc. I have no idea why it kept crashing, probably a bad cube. Elvismiggell. Strike me down and i will become more powerful than you can ever imagine... Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away
wormie Posted May 15, 2003 Posted May 15, 2003 It must have been a bad Gamecube, I've had mine for over a year now and have never had a problem with it. Rouge Squadron III I can't wait to play it. drool slobber drool Lost a planet Master Obi-Wan has, how embarrassing. - Yoda Do not count a human dead until you've seen his body, and even then you can make a mistake. - Bene Gesserit saying
ElvisMiggell Posted May 16, 2003 Author Posted May 16, 2003 Sounds like the logical extenssion of Shadow of the Empire on N64. Elvismiggell. Strike me down and i will become more powerful than you can ever imagine... Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away
Guest JediIgor Posted May 16, 2003 Posted May 16, 2003 It's disappointing how they are taking the Rogue Squadron franchise (think the books) and turning it into yet another space shooter with the Star Wars name on it and the Star Wars ships in it. There are so many books written for it, so why don't they make a REAL game with a campaign based on the books? Say against Ysard?
ElvisMiggell Posted May 18, 2003 Author Posted May 18, 2003 Certainly the first game was accurate imho. Remember that the books are set some time after the films, whereas the first game is set just after AnH. I think. Not too sure about the second one though. Elvismiggell. ElvisMiggell Posted May 19, 2003 Author Posted May 19, 2003 Could be, though I didn't get the impression it would be so flexible, and I thought that It would be more mission oriented. Still someone should really mod BF 1942 for SW, can you imagine it... Elvismiggell. Strike me down and i will become more powerful than you can ever imagine... Trejiuvanat Posted July 1, 2003 Posted July 1, 2003 http://www.lucasarts.com/products/rebelstrike/images/concepts/3.jpg I found that at the official Rogue III site... What kind of TIE is that? It looks oddly like the Chiss TIEs... http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
ADarkJedi44 Posted July 1, 2003 Posted July 1, 2003 I have no idea. Almost looks like a interceptor though. Sweat saves blood-Erwin Rommel
