Even though it took me a while to decipher that ^above^ I see where your coming from, my first day of school i had homework too and now after the first week i have a TON of it, Chemistry, German, English, Geometry, and maybe some more, due tommorrow and i havent even started.

I'm not really near Medway, that's a bit too far west. I live in a small town very near Canterbury in the west of Kent. But yes, in England.

lol yeah well school life at the 6th form sucks arse the best part of the day is my japanese lesson cause i was sat there for ten minutes and she still didnt notice me! it was just classic! anyway my typings getting better now so dont yell at me for it.

Why is no one here from the U.S. Anyways I started school today, being a senior (Grade 12) in the U.S. is pretty darn cool, knowing that you are the at the top level of the high school.

Last year of my BA. I'll be able to put BA after my name, that's pretty darn cool (and also deeply worrying)... Ack.

 

There are quite a few people from the US around, it just seems that the community here is a little more international than most places. The two Vaders are American (I gather) and there are bound to be others.

I would do too, but:

1) Uni hasn't stated yet, so no commitments there.

2) I'm too lazy to head to Asda when there's a small local shop here.

3) I have no valid buss pass which means I have to pay about £2:00 for a return ticket. That's one pound per trip... which isn't actually that much, but I needed three reasons to make it seem more rounded as an arguement. So yeah, 2 quid. It's an atrocity!

 

Ok, it's 2:10 in the morning here. That means all my sane Bristish comrades are most likely off counting sheep (and some of the less sane welsh ones). I wonder who you were "The mysterious unidentifiable guest from two posts ago" but in any case... I salute you.

 

Hmmm... I've just thought. This strange rambling insanity, maybe that's what sleep deprivation feels like. I gotta get some shut eye...

I'm in my sophmore year at college in the US (being a US citizen, born and raised. Though I've lived in 6 different states.) All my fun classes are starting this year as I'm finding out. Databases are the devil, I can't fully describe Accounting 202 without getting in trouble with the admins, and I'm wanting to kill my internet design Professor... But my Macro-econmics teacher is hilarious and my Public speaking teacher is insane. We're currently helping her plot to kill he husband she is divorcing if thats any indication, funny thing is that we're still learning the course. I'm going for a computer science major, but those last year programming course are looking mighty evil. But I'm hoping by then to have a better knowledge of computers and won't have a lot of trouble.

Heh, you people need to be careful. I graduated high scool in 94 and college in 2004... if that gives you any indication. Have a BS in Computer Science and in Mathematics but still shouldn't have taken that long. My only advice is to stay away from the evil side of the gene pool if you get my drift. They are a time and money sink and no good comes of it.

Yes im american and proud of it! I hate school as well although his year its not too bad, alot of cool teachers and ina llbut one of my classes i know a ton of people so its ok. My Honors Chemistry teacher is hilarious, but he assigns a ton of homework, he tells us all these stories about his former student and i guess his texan dialect is kinda funny too. My geometry teacher acts like hes on drugs, the guy is so into what hes teaching, were learning about logic, very easy and boring and he is so into it.
