*Confusion*

Perhaps the combat power is just attack strength. Which makes a little more sense but still an X-Wing Squadron would annhiliate a TIE Fighter squad with ease. We all know this.

I've looked at those pictures from the German games convention, and here are a couple things that simply confuzzled me:

- X-Wing squadrons have 10 combat points while TIE Fighter squadrons have 20

- ISDs have 70 combat points while Mon Cal Cruisers have 80

I assume that combat points are more or less the units' strength, i.e. hitpoints? If that's the case, that doesn't make sense. ISDs are near-impregnable space fortresses, and while not invulnerable, I don't understand why a Mon Cal would be stronger. I'm even more confused why the frail-a** TIE Fighters are stronger than the Rebels' X-Wings.

I notice it too. Lets wait till the demo in december.

Of course 1 squad of X-Wings will eat one of TIEs but you have to remind that in general TIEs outnumber X-Wings at least 2 to 1.

But still 1 squad of x-wings would have a decent chance of taking out 2 squads of normal ties. Now tie interceptors, and defenders are a whole other story.
