the_mask Posted May 7, 2003 Share Posted May 7, 2003 Dunno, depends on your ping-rate as well, cause some servers won't admit people with a ping-rate, that's too high. FFA servers are usually quite chaotic. Most times people will interfere with two others duelling, or attack the survivor afterwards. Duel servers seem to be the fairest. At least people can't cheat as much there as on FFAs. Last time I played FFA for ex. the Admin there froze me, just as I attacked, so he could perform his finishing move. Well, if it salved his ego ... I was playing on Sunday the last time, but something went wrong with my connection, so I get nothing better than 28k with my 56k on both pcs I play as 'Exar Kun', btw. Just connect and open the mp.exe go to join server, select source 'internet', instead of 'local' and it'll search for servers. I tried the bloodpatch, but it's just not like StarWars in my opinion.
