A plane from Paris France crashed at Toronto Airport when the wind pushed it down more.

2 pilots survived and I think 290 casualties. The storm from Toronto arrived here in Ottawa.

Any fatalities? :(

It's terrible when these things happen, but it couldn't have been prevented, it's not as if anyone made it happen. Still a tragedy though.

0 dead and all are fine. It was just a bad plane power outage when the lightning struck it but it over shot the runway. Its a wake up call that Canada is not safe either

Considering that something like 90% of the Canadian Population lives within a hundred miles of the US-Canada border you'd expect them to have summer.

Well, it was an Airbus A340 built 2001. 35,000 hours 8,000 landings , checked last time in July, the 5th. Pilots was working at Air France for at least 20 years. Only 43 injured but nothing serious.

I'll thjat all penssenger had left the plane before the fire started as it seems that the Crew of the plane stayed totally "cool" (Lol, I don't know the english term for "sang froid" "Cold blood" ) ;)
