0 JonSparks Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 I play on vista now with that download the only problem is the fact that you have to wait for the guy to stop talking that's about it.
0 VoDkA64 Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 I personally only waited through the introduction part, and made a save for the Rebels and the Empire right at the end of the intro.
0 Jacen_Fel Posted December 25, 2008 Posted December 25, 2008 Is there any fix to allow you to skip the droids on Vista? I have Rebellion running on my laptop on Vista and that can be annoying at the start. Other than that it would be GREAT if someone could figure out how to get tactical combat to work on Vista. Whenever I play a friend on network or via hamachi if either of us is using a Vista computer we can't do tactical combat as we will only see fighters and not capital ships during it. Though, ironically, we will see the lasers fired from the capital ships...just can't give them manual attack orders or see their stats. Actually my friend has had this same problem on XP, which is bummer because fleet battles in multiplayer are much more fun to fight out in tactical.

0 divers88 Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 after i download the d3drm.dll file what do i do with it how do i apply it with rebellion?
0 ElvisMiggell Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 I cheated at the weekend. I downloaded Windows Virtual Machine and installed Windows 95. BTW, oh my god what a relic Win95 is by comparison! 0 darthcircuit Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 after i download the d3drm.dll file what do i do with it how do i apply it with rebellion?after you download the file just copy it into "C:\program files\lucasarts\Star wars Rebellion\" or where ever you happened to install it. as stated, you wont be able to skip the droid intro, and in some cases, you wont be able to see the ships in battle view. i find it much less of a pain to just run the game in virtual pc in windows 98. its got a very low footprint in most cases, and it runs fine. you dont have to worry about copying files and the like.
0 nubcake25 Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 I cheated at the weekend. 0 Princess_Ludwyna Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 This does not work for me on vista 64. I remember having seen links for downloading a beta installer for vista 64 here but the files are no more up. can anyone repost them online?
0 nagje Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Hi, I want to play Rebellion again but I can´t install it because I am running windows vista (x64). Anyone knows how I can install and play the game? Thanks
0 K4qQZ6 Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Hi, I want to play Rebellion again but I can´t install it because I am running windows vista (x64). Anyone knows how I can install and play the game? Thanks I assume you got this working. If not, pretty much all the top threads discuss how to get it working in Windows Vista/7 or 8, 32 bit or 64 bit. If you can't find any resources try my post which I tried to make exhaustive, http://forums.swrebellion.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=28193&p=549885#p549885. If you still can't get it working send me a PM and I can try to help you.
