Mallic Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 I'm a long time rebellion player but I haven't played it in over a year and since then I have upraged my gaming rig signifigantly. I upgraded (or downgraded depending on who you talk to) to vista. When I load the game the Install button pops up along with the imperial music, when I click on the Install button the music continues for about 5 seconds and then nothing. Would love to play again, just not sure what to do. I looked all over the forums but couldn't find anything on installing with Vista. Thanks again.

Mallic Posted December 14, 2007 Author Posted December 14, 2007 Thanks a lot Krytos, I got the game going!!!!! Now I'm just strugling with getting the sound to work properly, I can't hear C-3-PO and the game play is a little buggy. Thanks again!!
budious Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 Yes, the Vista x86/x64 fix is far from perfect. Performance seems quite degraded using the workaround .dll version but I don't have a better solution.
