Windows Vista x64 incompatibility??

Hi guys!

 

I just downloaded the "very first beta" of rebellion reloaded.

After carefully reading the instructions i discovered that the "setup" requires that the game is allready installed on the PC before continiuing!

 

Now Vista X64 wont allow the game to be installed, a pitty since i even got the original CD!

 

Now....what to do????

 

And by the way.....great job in remaking this awsome game!!!

Unfortunately, none of the Reloaded team appear to have Vista and as such we haven't been able to test this.

 

However, hope is not completely lost. A forum member by the name of Budious has a thread running that has solutions to running Rebellion (not Reloaded - however, I see no reason why it wouldn't work) under XP 64bit and Windows Vista. I think towards the end of the thread (page 4) there is talk of Vista 64

Just pm or post your email address in either thread and I will mail you my x64 installer. There has been mixed results with operation under Vista x64, but it works perfect in XP x64. You can try it for yourself.
