ForgottenH Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 Is the online Gamespy Arcade just a way to meet another Rebellion player, or does Gamespy Arcade somehow help you connect to them? I tried to play a game with a friend using TCP/IP connection but it didn't work; I'm wondering if trying it through Gamespy Arcade will make any difference. Thanks!
PHSYCOBOB Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 Only by luck these days. Gamespy dropped almost all retail games years ago. Your one shot is thier lan games room, which as I indicated is not reliable for all people to get a connection to one-another. Reb. was made before all of this built-in firewall crap, among other things.
budious Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 I thought it still supported Rebellion. Don't they host the new Rebellion ladder that nobody uses. Bring yourself over to #zoners while your at it bob. "In the future it will become easier for old negatives to become lost and be 'replaced' by new altered negatives. This would be a great loss to our society. Our cultural history must not be allowed to be rewritten." - George Lucas, 1988. [u.S. piper877 Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 I'm idling in Gamespy's Rebellion lobby if anyone likes. I like to play as the Rebels and with large galaxy. Usually a long game if anyone's up for it.
