Protectorate Multiplayer Savegame Issue

I've been playing Protectorate TC mutliplayer recently and everything seems to work fine. The problem arose when we connected to resume our game later on, the load game option is greyed out! I checked with my opponant, with both have the netgame save file with correct timestamp, it just seems that the rebellion multiplayer lobby doesn't recognise that we both have a game to resume.

 

Does anyone have a work around or fix for this? Potential ideas maybe?

...and in conclusion, if you do happen to use Savegame slot 6, get both players to rename the file as another slot and resume from there. This has been tested and works.
