Trojan Horse!

I seem to have a real problem here guys.

 

Every time I load a new parge on teh Rebellion forums, (Not on any other forum) I get this type of Virus warning.

Needless to say I am somewhat concerned over this.

I've done some checking and this is the only site/forum that causes the problem. Is there an old Torjan horse in hidinbg on the site? I looked up this type (Which is a fairly old type of Virus) and it seems that it hides as html documents or web pages.

As far as I know, that file should have no malicious action. It is designed to help the site theme in IE7.

I have the same issue. I'm glad I checked here, as I was about to make a new topic in "Outside Interests." Same result, same location, but only from the computer that runs Internet Explorer 7. The other computer I use has Firefox and works just fine with the site. I'm not sure why on Earth this is, but it is...

When did it start for you? It wasn't doing it for me before today.

 

EDIT: I'll have to check the other computer to see if it does the same thing.

I usually run FireFox but for the topical consideration of this post I make an exception. Works fine in IE7 on Vista 32bit with AVG Free 7.5 running on my laptop. Going back to FireFox now.

No problems here, albiet I'm running things a little different: XP SP2, IE7, Avast! Virus scanner (also, Windows Defender running).

My guess is that bit of Javascript is confusing the virus scanner, acting like a trojan and opening some back door maybe API related.

You might check the AVG forums (assuming they have one) for similar problems

EDIT: Oh shi- The adds are diffrient today! They're mainly star Wars Related ones. They wern't yesterday.

I haven't tried wih IE7 again since yesterday (the twelfth) when problems started hitting. I run AVG as well. Strange that this would happen, but the general consensus is that its just a bit of code confusion?
