Also looking on was "Star Wars" director and writer George Lucas. Flying on Discovery is the lightsaber used by the character Luke Skywalker in 1983's "Return of the Jedi."

Are we finishing Reagan's Star Wars program?

"In the future it will become easier for old negatives to become lost and be 'replaced' by new altered negatives. This would be a great loss to our society. Our cultural history must not be allowed to be rewritten." - George Lucas, 1988. [u.S. Congressional hearing testimony on film preservation.]

Well sort of ... it's not exactly the same, it's been "upgraded" since. It's now called Star Wars: Special Edition.

:P:lol:

That is utterly ridiculous. That quack believes that in the future Danny Devito's family line will compromise an entire half of the human population!

Your feeble skills are no match for the power of the Dark Side!

I am watching Ewan McGregor as I type on a BBC program called 'Long Way Down,' which is rather good. He's off on the bikes again with his mate Charley Boorman, this time through Africa. Get to meet his dad and brother (though no sign of Wedge), but his laid back personality is refreshing! :)

If you get access to the BBC on the web, my guess is it will be repeated on one of the digital channels like BBC3 or BBC4.
