Sinister Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 Does anyone know or want to guess in how much time do the events in each Star Wars film occur? For example: In ESB, from the moment the Empire sends out probe droids to the moment Luke and Leia look out across the galaxy aboard a medical ship, how much time has passed? I'm not really sure about some of them because often in the movies some of the characters are traveling across the galaxy at light speed, but for all I know it could take hours or even days for them to reach their destination. So, - Phantom Meanace- Attack of the Clones- Revenge of the Sith- A New Hope- Empire Strikes Back- Return of the Jedi Anyone have some ideas? http://www.geocities.com/xenogears23/Jokersinsigmgs.jpg "Life is hard. budious Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 - Phantom Menace - 133 mins- Attack of the Clones - 142 mins- Revenge of the Sith - 140 mins- A New Hope - 121 mins org - 125 mins se- Empire Strikes Back - 124 mins org - 127 mins se- Return of the Jedi - 134 mins org, 135 mins se imdb is your friend... Attack of the Clones is the longest technically... Phantom Menace felt the longest as I lulled around the theatre seat waiting for it to be over. RotJ goes by the quickest as the pace quickens after rescue of Han from Jabba palace... Lando piloting the Millennium Falcon! Sinister Posted April 8, 2007 Author Posted April 8, 2007 Thanks, but that is not what I mean by time. I meant time as in terms of how it related to the characters and story. For example, how long did it take Vader's fleet to reach Hoth after the probes made their discovery? Did it take them days or weeks to get there? Now take that to a larger scale. From the beginning of the movie to the end, how much time has passed? Days, weeks, months? http://www.geocities.com/xenogears23/Jokersinsigmgs.jpg "Life is hard. After all, it kills you." - Katharine Hepburn

budious Posted April 8, 2007 Posted April 8, 2007 First Battle of Yavin IV... why the hell would the empire send a foothold force of stormtroopers and then send the deathstar to blow it up. That makes zero sense at all... a fleet of star destroyers perhaps... blasphemy... And I did know what you meant, I was just being sarcastic. I don't know how long it would have taken Obi Wan and Qusi Sudo to travel through the dense high-pressure hull crushing center of Naboo's chromosome retarded ecology evolved into a species of Jar-Jars and hot child queens with no acting talent. I despise the prequels... don't mention them in my presense. "In the future it will become easier for old negatives to become lost and be 'replaced' by new altered negatives.
