I notice we have a vast amount of materials dedicated to rebellion on this site. Player guides, editing guides, tc guides and resources. Maybe the administrator would evaluate the feasibility of having a wiki child domain for the url where all this data could be indexed, searchable, and updateable by members other than the thread starters, etc.

Ah... you need to post those things on front page where they are noticeable... if they are already there, I said "noticeable"

 

Can we expand it to a multi-purpose rebellion wiki rather just "RebEd"?

- easier to remember url, change to http://www.swrebellion.com/wiki

- disable login requirement to view pages, only login to make changes

- sticky topic in all relevant sub-forums to navigate users to wiki

While having the name of Rebedwiki it really does seem to pertain to all aspects of editing the game. (Despite being incomplete.)

I think the name fits it, though it could use a little more visibility arround the site.

Well I meant Rebed as in "Rebellion editing" and not just limited to RebEd the program.

 

The URL will remain the same, as it is already set and less likely to get spammed. The login requirement is also to avoid spam.. if there's a quicker way to set permissions on Mediawiki that doesn't require extensive code changes to implement, then point me to it.

 

There is a sticky on the General Discussion area. But you may want to post one in the Rebellion Editing board as well.
