Trejiuvanat Posted March 21, 2003 Posted March 21, 2003 Check this out: http://www.starwars.com/eu/news/2003/03/news20030321.html and wait for October http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
Gank Posted March 22, 2003 Posted March 22, 2003 Hope its better than the last one, though looking at the colour pics I doubt it.
Guest Scathane Posted March 22, 2003 Posted March 22, 2003 What's wrong with the pictures in your opinion, Gank?
Guest JediIgor Posted March 22, 2003 Posted March 22, 2003 Hmm, based on the AT-AT picture seems like their blueprints are a lot less detailed... thanks a lot Del Rey, it will help modelers a LOT. *sarcasm* I just hope they include the Yuuzhan Vong ships as well, based from what I have seen they just added useless prequel stuff.
Trejiuvanat Posted March 23, 2003 Author Posted March 23, 2003 I think so, they have to include the Yuuzhan Vong ships, coralskippers, Tasavong Lah's ship, world ships, and porbably others. Blueprints are a lot less detailed, but again there haven't been any blue prints of the VOgn ships at all. http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
SOCL Posted April 5, 2003 Posted April 5, 2003 I like the color pictures, but I'm sad to see they haven't included the original black and white line drawings they had in the first edition. I also hope they add in some of the ships from the EU that were not included last time, such as the Sovereign-class "Super Star Destroyer" and the Allegiance-class "Star Destroyer". I would also like to see the Darksaber and the Whirlwind (a modified "Imperial-class" Star Destroyer), both from Anderson's Darksaber. Trejiuvanat Posted April 5, 2003 Author Posted April 5, 2003 I miss those too, I don't hink will be seeing the Allegiance or the Whirlwind especially because they appeared in only one book or comic and did not have a starring role http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif

I just dread the amount of prequel stuff they're going to probably cram into the book...ugh! Trejiuvanat Posted April 5, 2003 Author Posted April 5, 2003 I can only agree with you. Epi II ships and NJO ships. And probably the usual ones. I would very much liek to see the DArksaber in it's finished form. and those special Impstars. http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
wormie Posted April 5, 2003 Posted April 5, 2003 While I can hope that there will be ships from NJO, i feel that the emphasis will be on Episode II sob Lost a planet Master Obi-Wan has, how embarrassing. - Yoda Do not count a human dead until you've seen his body, and even then you can make a mistake. - Bene Gesserit saying
Trejiuvanat Posted April 5, 2003 Author Posted April 5, 2003 That's probably gonna be the emphasis, but we'll certainly see skips, and some warships analogs, and hopefully the Bothan Cruiser, and the mediator and the viscount. http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
wormie Posted April 5, 2003 Posted April 5, 2003 I guess we'll just have to wait and see.... unfortunatly Lost a planet Master Obi-Wan has, how embarrassing. - Yoda Do not count a human dead until you've seen his body, and even then you can make a mistake. - Bene Gesserit saying
Trejiuvanat Posted April 5, 2003 Author Posted April 5, 2003 It's only six months, wormie, proabbly the same six months you'll be waiting for jKIII. Damn it's seven months until the closing chapter in the NJO series. http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
wormie Posted April 5, 2003 Posted April 5, 2003 how many books are left in the NJO series? the last one I have is Remnant. Lost a planet Master Obi-Wan has, how embarrassing. - Yoda Do not count a human dead until you've seen his body, and even then you can make a mistake. - Bene Gesserit saying

Guest JediIgor Posted April 18, 2003 Posted April 18, 2003 I don't like those e-books.. they should print them with the bigger books as a "prelude" and charge an extra dollar or something... I just don't have the time to read a book while I'm sitting on my computer

I just don't have the time to read a book while I'm sitting on my computer I'm guessing e-books are STAR WARS books read online, but where do you read them? And how do they tie into the STAR WARS universe? I mean, are they real books and worth as much canon as the novels are (whatever amount that is)? Guest JediIgor Posted April 18, 2003 Posted April 18, 2003 An e-book is just like a real book.. except you read it on a computer (unless you print it out). They might have all the Star Wars books in e-book format for all I know.. but the "short story" ones are in e-book only format (such as Ylesia or Rebirth, the latter being printed in Star by Star paperbook).
