Darth_Rob Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 So here's an interesting question: What was the greatest live show you attended? For me, it was the 2002 Pop Disaster Tour, with Blink-182 and Green Day headlining. Also had New Found Glory, and the debut of Sugarcult and Body Jar opening. That was a crazy, GREAT show! Definitely, hands down, the best show I ever saw! I went there idolizing Blink, Green Day, and New Found Glory, and left with Sugarcult stuck in me as well. Four years later, the bands have certainitly changed. I think Blink and Green Day grew up in a good way, as their new stuff is different yet still beyond great. I tend to shy away from where New Found Glory and Sugarcult have gone to these days in terms of their sound. Your feeble skills are no match for the power of the Dark Side! JediHunter Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 Greatest live show ever was Tool back in '02 first time to see them since Aenima and it was the best ever. They had completely changed to a new sound and band dynamic that greatly improved their sound. The stage setup and visuals were absolutely amazing. I left a different person. Mad78 Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 Best live show i ever saw was Paleo. Got to see Franz Ferdinand and Faithless live! Was bloody brilliant. You cannot under stand the full beauty of Insomnia until you've seen it live. @Mitth: Try getting your hands on a song called Jah Light by Augustus Pablo. Its a good example of Dub music and a really cool song. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance

Mad78 Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 I don't often go to concerts. Exept for small ska and reggae concerts which often happen around Geneva but even then I don't go very often. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
Jahled Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 Best concert I went to was Motorhead's 10th anniversary at Hammersmith here in London, many, many years ago, when I was a teenager. Loud wasn't the word; it was volcannic! http://www.jahled.co.uk/smallmonkeywars.gif
Darth_Rob Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 I also saw another crazy show that was Metallica, Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit (boo!!!) and two other bands that opened. Metallica and Linkin Park were both ridiculously awesome. Your feeble skills are no match for the power of the Dark Side!
