DarthTex Posted September 28, 2006 Posted September 28, 2006 I don't understand Krytos, it's only a ~60 meter long bug Just get a VERY LARGE can of bug spray It must be on/in the camera. There is probably something special about space based cameras that would explain why everything is in focus. I would hazard to guess that the bug is SO close to the camera (compared to the surface) that the camera is not focusing on it. But since it is so close, it is in focus. Some people can see "floaters" (and that's the technical term according to opthomalogists) on their eye surface while focusing on something else (it is physically impossible to "focus" on something that's "on" your eye). Just my two bits worth Finally, after years of hard work I am the Supreme Sith Warlord! Muwhahahaha!! What?? What do you mean "there's only two of us"?
Darth_Rob Posted September 28, 2006 Posted September 28, 2006 I actually do see floaters. I thought I was going nuts. So I went to the op. and he said "oh thats normal". And I was like Your feeble skills are no match for the power of the Dark Side! My Website http://fp.profiles.us.playstation.com/playstation/psn/pid/BigBadBob113.png
The_Dane Posted September 28, 2006 Posted September 28, 2006 Man that's great to know. I though I was going crazy, but I figured that it was probably just my lenses. But on the other hand maybe I am just going crazy "If my answers frighten you then you should cease asking scary questions."
Mad78 Posted September 28, 2006 Posted September 28, 2006 Very neat find Kryt. How did you find it? http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
DarthTofu Posted September 28, 2006 Posted September 28, 2006 Ditto the Mad @Tex: Is it possible to see scratches on the suface of your eye? I find that if I manage a lack of focus a specific way I see small semi-rainbow lines that stay in the same place regardless of how I tilt my head provided I keep that focus... 12/14/07Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away

I had the LASIK surgery done on my eyes several years ago, and I have a very small dark "squiggle" in my vision, which is probably from the "cut" made on the cornea. Every once in awhile I find myself trying to "swat" it out of the way, thinking it's a bug Finally, after years of hard work I am the Supreme Sith Warlord! Muwhahahaha!! What?? JediHunter Posted September 28, 2006 Posted September 28, 2006 are you serious?!... wow... that seems like a reason NOT to have Lasik done.. i have a friend who has had it done.. im gonna have to ask him if he has something similar.. lol.... hes never talked about it though.. he was just happy he could see the alarm clock in the morning.. Defender_16 Posted September 28, 2006 Posted September 28, 2006 Odd Mitth, very odd. Man, my internet has been on the fritz lately. Who saw the movie 'Appleseed' when it came out awhile back? Anbody else seen Tank Police before? (Man haven't seen it in years) Some GTA:San Andreas tricks followed by the ususal rampage.
Krytos Posted September 29, 2006 Posted September 29, 2006 My brother sent me the link, so I've got no back story on it what so ever. @E99: You said something about scanning them? I was under the impression that it was digital image from a satellite was a simple digital transfer. @D16: Never heard of Tank Police @Mitth: That is a deadly Teady Bear I want two EDIT: http://slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=06/09/28/1517229&from=rss http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://img152.imageshack.us/img152/1333/3dartistbanneranimationws1.gifhttp://img154.imageshack.us/img154/4026/rebellionbannerdi2.gif

The_Dane Posted September 29, 2006 Posted September 29, 2006 @Mitth: Man that is so funny I love that they put this under the picture. Darth_Rob Posted September 29, 2006 Posted September 29, 2006 That Wisconsin thing is ridiculous. Sometimes I am just perplexed by the courts. Your feeble skills are no match for the power of the Dark Side! My Website http://fp.profiles.us.playstation.com/playstation/psn/pid/BigBadBob113.png
The_Dane Posted September 29, 2006 Posted September 29, 2006 What kind of mad judge was this??? That is so sick and bizarre... "If my answers frighten you then you should cease asking scary questions."
JediHunter Posted September 29, 2006 Posted September 29, 2006 you can blame the judge all you want... but you cant convict someone for something that is not illegal according to the law books... whos to say they would have done it had they known it was illegal?... i find it more crazy that there is no law against it... it should be a national law.. not state in my opinion.. heh. "Duct tape is like the force. It has a light side, a dark side, and it holds the universe together."http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j34/akira9949/4297_image.jpg
The_Dane Posted September 29, 2006 Posted September 29, 2006 Yes that's true of course they didn't do anything wrong, exept trying to dig up the corpse. There definately should be a national law against necrophelia. I am truly discusted... that there is no law against it in Wisconsin is most probaly a slip, don't you think??? "If my answers frighten you then you should cease asking scary questions."
Defender_16 Posted September 29, 2006 Posted September 29, 2006 Man, I've gotta get posting more. Havent done anyting reservoir related in awhile trebek goes to funkytown Sim City: New Orleans Yak old Sun very random

(same site.. specific for Illinois though).. and scroll down to the first city... fairfield... now thats still on the law books... hypothetically.. they could prosecute... but they wont.. cuz its dumb.. i would think.. anyways.. yea.. law makers in the U.S. verrrry lazy i guess.. anyways... ... hehehehehe messing with you Tex @Def: cool stuff.. the Yak one was just weird.... but i liked the reservoir dogs one.. that was cool.. Not only is that hilarious ... it's true (Yankee wussies ) I don't know why this was listed as a "dumb" law. I think it's quite ingenious, just extremely difficult to enforce (unless after the fact): "A recently passed anticrime law requires criminals to give their victims 24 hours notice, either orally or in writing, and to explain the nature of the crime to be committed." If "criminals" would follow the law in Texas, then it would be possible to end all crime (that would actually work everywhere) Finally, after years of hard work I am the Supreme Sith Warlord! DarthTofu Posted September 29, 2006 Posted September 29, 2006 The said: Doors of all public buildings must open outwards. Ah, now see,t his isn't a stupid law at all. There's actually a very good reason for this- in the event of an emergency if everyone is pushing to get out one must pull people back before they can open a door. When doors open outward more people can squeeze out more quickly. The idea likely came around about the same time as the Panic Bars did. The site loses! 12/14/07Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away
JediHunter Posted September 29, 2006 Posted September 29, 2006 yea.. there are some laws on there that are actually smart laws... i think the people who made that site arent all that bright themselves.. for instance.. one law for texas was.. Beer cannot be sold after midnight on Sunday but can be bought on Monday." I guess they either thought it was stupid that you cant buy beer on sunday or thought that after midnight on sunday actually is monday... forgetting that after midnight on sunday is right after saturday???... i dont know... The_Dane Posted September 29, 2006 Posted September 29, 2006 I found this law quite funny: Kenilworth: A rooster must step back three hundred feet from any residence if he wishes to crow.
