The Pacific and Atlantic Oceans are the greatest 'Wall of China' that there ever was for us... you folks in Europe are a bit closer, but an Israel/Iran battle still won't affect you directly for awhile. The man is a single-man faction in our parliament. A lot of Dutch muslims think he's a radicalist with regard to their people and Islam... and I must say, I can't blame them... On the other hand, we've got Islamists in the Netherlands who threaten to kill him... The man gets hundreds of hatemails a day, if not more, telling him that the street will be soaked in his blood and other such very sad and deranged sympathies... The government keeps him under under constant protection and he's carried from safehouse to safehouse... Nevertheless, this man now proposes to change the first chapter of our constitution (for clarity, this holds what is literally translated as non-discrimination principle and thus freedom of religion). In addition he would have declared in that very same article that what he calls the Jewish-Christian and humanist tradition and culture is the most dominant culture of the Netherlands. Either convert to something else or stop being a part of the world." In all reality, the only solution would be to withdraw from them completely, close the borders, and ignore them.
