Darth_Rob Posted October 12, 2005 Posted October 12, 2005 D'oh! My home state is in the 50's! What was the ranking based on? Your feeble skills are no match for the power of the Dark Side! My Website http://fp.profiles.us.playstation.com/playstation/psn/pid/BigBadBob113.png
DarthTofu Posted October 12, 2005 Posted October 12, 2005 34. Miami, Florida W00T! Floridians come out high on the ranking! Though I still have to wonder why in the world Merritt Island isn't on that list! Everybody thinks we're either seminole indians or redneck hicks thanks to kennedy Space center's "Nature and Space" exhibit. Apparently we're a national wildlife preserve, and have seminole indians living in all of our backyards. 12/14/07Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away

Mad78 Posted October 12, 2005 Author Posted October 12, 2005 The survey was based on security, quality of life and stuff like that. Houston, TX is #29, but I'm wondering why more cities in Texas aren't on the list? Security is never a problem, we all drive around in pickup trucks with gunracks loaded with rifles and/or shotguns, and everybody is packin' a six-shooter. You'd be a fool to try anything in public at least. *** That's all stereotype propoganda ya'll *** Finally, after years of hard work I am the Supreme Sith Warlord! Muwhahahaha!! What?? SWR Staff - Executive Evaders99 Posted October 12, 2005 SWR Staff - Executive Posted October 12, 2005 In the 30s.. not bad. I'd thought it would rank much worse, given the crime, traffic, etc... DarthTofu Posted October 12, 2005 Posted October 12, 2005 Hold on- what the hell is Miami doing on that list in the low thirties, then? It has negative security! You go to miami you have about a 1 in 5,000,000,000 chance of escaping with your cash and/or life... and/or virginity. 12/14/07Nu kyr'adyc, shi taab'echaaj'la Not gone, merely marching far away
Grand_Admiral_Thrawn Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 Well, the city closest to me is in 4th place, so I'll just count myself as a Torontonian! History is on the move, Captain. Those who cannot keep up with it will be left behind, to watch from a distance. And those who stand in our way will not watch at all.
Krytos Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 Aussie, Aussie, Aussie! Oi, oi oi! I'm living in number 1 - Melbourne!!!! Once I figure out why it's number 1 I'll let you all know Wow, in fact the worst place in Australia is ranked 8th with a tie of Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide. Umm, by any chance did Australians do this ranking? I mean Adelaide is 8th tied with Sydney?!? Looking at the list, I'd put Adeliade at 80-90th position http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://img152.imageshack.us/img152/1333/3dartistbanneranimationws1.gifhttp://img154.imageshack.us/img154/4026/rebellionbannerdi2.gif
Mad78 Posted October 13, 2005 Author Posted October 13, 2005 Well considering nothing ever happens in Adelaide it would be a rather safe place to live http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
DarthTex Posted October 17, 2005 Posted October 17, 2005 Out of the cities listed, I've been to the following (* some just for lay overs at the airport ). 1. Vancouver, Canada 4. Jonaray Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 Why the hell isnt Christchurch on that list? It is a known fact that is is a better place to live than Auckland and probibly Wellington!I mean, we have close to no murders/robberies/rapes etc, very nice lifestyles and plenty of education etc.I mean, I am not surprized that Melbourne is #1, because I have heard it rocks, but I have also heard reports about Christchurch having a wider range on offer providing an awesome lifestyle I mean, I have been all over the world and I haven't seen a City with as much to offer as Christchurch without any worries of securities etc!For example, I dont need to worry about locking up my house, I do when I know i will be gone for like ages, but any time less than a day and no sweat! Also, I dont need to fear dark alley ways and the like.It offers all a City needs less the bad and congested traffic systems etc.I mean, I can get from My place (On the rural boarder of town 10k away) to the city center in like 10 mins! This beats Auckland and Wellingtons Gridlocks for sure! As a local subdivision advertised their properties:"City Living, Country Life!"I think that list is kind of messed up!Meh, Ah well!
Mad78 Posted October 22, 2005 Author Posted October 22, 2005 I live on the outskirts of geneva and there is a train every half hour with ehich i can by in the city in 10 mins. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
