Some quick notes: Jahled almost left the forums, we seemed to have almost lost the whole Zoot situation, Trej seemed to yell at me back in another thread (about a conspiracy), and Scath trying to stay mellow (or so it seems). Interesting . . . So anyhow, do you actually think (especially in light of present events) that I could convince the admin to try and change the ranks and insignia to the correct and matching ones? Be honest, when's the last time you've seen Stratus, Stormfront, Senator Elegos Akla or Talon "Nemesis" Karrde frequent these forums??? We only see Evaders around when he's got some nice posts about totally boring things! The only one we see around here is JediIgor and at least he joins in some of the interesting or fun stuff. I mean, you're right that it is JI's site and that he can do whatever he wants with it but you can't deny that SWR is a web community that stands or falls by the grace of particpation. So, that means that you can own a website but you do not own the community. The community is something you can help build and of which you can hope that it will flourish (which, by the way, I think this particular community is). Now, I'm not saying that I don't appreciate the time, effort and money that is invested by JI, Evaders, Stratus, Stormfront, Talon "Nemesis" Karrde and Senator Elegos Akla (I hope I didn't forget anyone)..... What I am saying though, is that management of a community is more than saying: "You're not posting the proper stuff in the forums, take it elsewhere or your account will be suspended". Supreme Commander doesn't seem to be used2. Ensign doesn't seem to be used3. Lieutenant Commander and Major insignia seem to be swapped4.
