I'm not sure if this is airing anywhere else tonight, but here in Canada there will a a two-hour premier of a show called Empire. Basically it will focus on the Roman Empire post Julius. Now, it's not going to be a historical drama, more of a Star Trek-like history show. I think it will be similar to Gladiator (not historically correct, but entertaining). It stars at 9:00 on CTV.

History is on the move, Captain. Those who cannot keep up with it will be left behind, to watch from a distance. And those who stand in our way will not watch at all."

I have been seeing ads for this on tv for the past month. It might have been on more (the ads) but I rarely watch tv. At any rate it seems like it could be interesting. I admit I am a big fan/buff of the Roman Empire and this show seems like it would be entertaining to watch.

Fighting is terrible, but not as terrible as losing the will to fight.
