I would like to know if there is a card for Mara Jade on this site, and if there isn't could somebody make one and put it on. I would myself but I don't know how to do it. A websit that has her picture is http://www.galactic-voyage.com. Just go to light side charcters A-Z and click her name.

Hello their Rebel4Ever,

As to the answer of your question, I did a quick search on our card database here without any luck. But it was brief, so if you like, you check our card database here for Mara Jade cards, and if their are not any, maybe you will find something else to your liking. :)

If anyone is going to make a card (does any one still do that?) based on an EU character, I suggest you do a search for the Japanese translations of the EU books. Their covers are much better than ours!

TheForce.net has these scans of the NJO series. You can actually see what every one looks like, not just go by what is described (which is very vague, really).

If it weren't for the bloody Stormtroopers this would make a good image for a Mara Jade card.

Yup, there was a Destroyer Driod in that book. I'm assuming that the strange ship is the central hub of Outbound Flight. If I remember correctly it was composed of multiple Dreadnaughts linked together by a central structure.

No, Survivor's Quest is the novel that Zahn wrote after the majority of the NJO books had been published, but that takes place just before the Vong invade. It was an interesting novel, but certainly not one of his best pieces of writing.

It's a Luke - Mara novel with some convoluted Chiss plot underneath it all. As Thrawn said, not Zahn's best job...

It's pretty good nonetheless, Zahn did a good job at trying to bridge the gap and give an insight into the way both Mara and Luke thought. Still I think we were a bit disappointed because it didn't fit in with some of the other works. We didn't know who the enemy were for an enormous amount of time and Zahn restricted the narration more then usual. It reads more like a mystery then a Star Wars novel in some respects.

I think that SQ was a giant short story, the building-up-for-the-action part was too bloated with little hints to the great revelation (which gave the books it's mysterious aura), but it all could have been made much shorter.

Lucasbooks, I think underused Zahn in this one. In past novels Zahn showed how good he can handle multiple storylines of multiple characters and spread them over multiple books and then tie it all together. That's partly what made him a fan favorite.

The book is very enjoyable, but I think most of us will miss the grand scale of things we were used to in Thrawn Trilogy and Hand of Thrawn Duology. I hope that Outbound Flight will be written to form a loose duology with Survivor's Quest and that it doesn't go off in another direction...

Ask and you shall recieve. Thanks for the image guys, she looks good converted to rebellion's pallet. Of course I'll have to make my smaller images with other Mara picks at a different angle just to keep it from getting repeditive.
