Avatar Help!!

Can Someone tell me how and where I can get a nice Star Wars Avatar that meets the requirements for this site. I'm new to the Avatar thing and well I'm not at all sure how to do it. I like the one I've picked from this site but would prefer one more suitable to me. Preferablly Emperor Palpatine. Any hints,suggestions, or something would be appreciated.

1. Look up at the top of the page, you see the thing that says:

2. Hover you're Cursor over the "Forums" thing.

3.Go down to "Profile".

4. Click "Profile"

5. Go down to the very bottom of the page, until you see,

6. Enter this: http://img96.echo.cx/img96/8599/palpatine0ts.jpg In the Link to off-site Avatar Box.

7. Click Submit.

8. You're Done

Thanks kaja it worked . I tried downloading my own images from over the internet and couldn't get it to work. :evil:Now I finally have a better Avatar. Thanks ! By the way how did you get a link fixed with the image that allowed it to useable?

I'm trying to get an avatar up, too, but i can't seem to get it to work. i hosted it on the site that you said to and got as far in as it would let me, but the site just won't accept it. Currently, I have this link: http://img217.imageshack.us/my.php?image=tofu0mx.jpg Not the link I want, but I can't seem to get the photoshop image that I made to come in, so... As Jar Jar would say "Any help 'ere woul' be ho'!" And as i would make him say "No! please be puttin' down the blasta', mista'. Mesa no wanna die! Messa no wanna-" and then I shoot him. but that's besides the point.

go to http://www.photobucket.com and create an account, then use the image's URL for your avatar. Thats how I got my pic up.
