I wonder if it'll get pulled. I seem to remember that the WW2 Carrier Brazil was trying to sell a couple of years ago was pulled before anyone had a chance to bid on it. I'd rather buy one from the Russian company MiG if I had the money though :).

That MiG-29 is tempting - though I think I left my 1.7 million in my other pants - dang

Kaja: *Waves Hand* You don't need my 1,700,00 Dollars.

Seller: *Waves his hand* Yes I do.

Kaja: *Waves Hand* NO, YOU DON'T.

Seller: Who do you think you are, some kinda Jedi waving you're hand around like that.

Prank. Must be... If you can actually buy a MIG for $ 225,000 or even $ 1,700,000, than we should seriously consider going into another business...

the mig 21 isn't that rare to fnd for sale apparently a couple of companies here use mig 21's and mif15's for joy flights and simulated dog fighting. they take up novices and let em fly around over the ocean in em.(twin seaters of course)

and with the way russia has gone lately plus the smaller bit's of the soviet uninon i can't see it that suprising that they'd be selling off excess military gear so as to be able to pay for the stuff they are keeping. i mean you canm buy a brand new just out of the factory kilo class diesel electric submarine from the russians for 300 mill delivered

Sky,

Why would you want to arm your plane?? I would certainly buy it only for the extreme thrill of flying it!!

Well someone said something that AQ and others could just buy these off of Ebay. I was pointing out that a plane would be cool, but to maintain it, fuel it, and arm it and so on....there are a lot of other costs involved which make owning and operating a plane very very expensive.

Top of my head it costs about £200 to keep a small helicopter in the air an hour.... a shudder to think what it would cost to puta MIG in the air....

..and maintain it...

...and arm it...

You must have been somewhere else when they were selling a carrier, F/A-18, and an underground bunker.. all those were real :).

lol Indeed! The site of a MIG in your driveway is enough to lower the insurance on your house...
