Trejiuvanat
I'd rather keep it as a mystery... Otherwise GL would suggest a rather lame story for it. http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif

Skynxnex
Keeping the origins of Palpatine a secret I think is for the best. I did read a good fanfiction that someone did..but I cant seem to find the link anywhere. If I find the link again to it I will post it. http://img30.echo.cx/img30/2519/yodavspals4fr0gi.gif
Guest Scathane
Another good point: Trej, do you still have that Hutt Illustrated cover I did?
Aenivae_Ikeda
Yeah keep it a secret, everyone wanted to know more about Boba Fett and Lucas turned him into a little kid, completely ruining the secretive feeling of him. So I think anyways. Â Hell Lucas did this with Anakin too, turned him into a little kid and gave him a stupid nickname. God only knows what he can manage to do with Palpatine... -Shudders- So yeah good point Trej. Stellar_Magic
Yeah keep it a secret Lucas so fans like me can write awesome fanfiction about it... You all know I've got my own theory Forum and RPG Membership:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v436/StellarMagic01/RaporaWarsTC.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v436/StellarMagic01/RaporaWarsRPG2.jpg Signature:Sufficiently advanced technology would be indistinguishable from Magic. -Arthur C. Grand_Admiral_Thrawn
I'm really starting to wish I had picked up that Illustrated Dictionary for Episode III, there was alot of interesting facts in it. There was a nice little paragraph about Palpitane's lightsaber, and there was also a section acplaining Imperial Officers. Apparently there were schools set up to train non-clone officers after the Clone Wars ended. History is on the move, Captain. Those who cannot keep up with it will be left behind, to watch from a distance. And those who stand in our way will not watch at all.
Mad78
When i was in England not long ago i thought about getting one but i was discouraged by the price. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
Aenivae_Ikeda
Heh, England. That reminds me of a movie I saw once but for the life of me I can't remember the name. Anyways some dumbass American is in England and he goes to buy something but doesn't understand the currenct convertion. I don't remember the scene exactly but a rough version would be; American: So I wanna buy those shoes, heres 2 bucks!English Man: No it is 40 pounds!American: Fourty pounds worth of 2 dollar bills? Holy fuck man! Not in the least amusing and probably accurate in more ways than one but it reminded me of it... Mad78
Yes, the english currency can be a bit disturbing to start but you get the hang of it after a moment. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
Darktrooper
Imagine that. You get your weight in pounds. Come to think of it... "May the force be with the pizza guy. Mad78
Well considering the pound is also a way to mesure your weight it wouldn't be very hard. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
Skynxnex
Ah England, shame everything there is so expensive thanks to the VAT. Bleh. I remember when I was there a Super Nintendo game would cost like 40-50 pounds. Back then the pound was almost like $2. That means one game cost almost 100 dollars. Absolutely ridiculous because in the US I could get the same game for like 40-50 dollars. http://img30.echo.cx/img30/2519/yodavspals4fr0gi.gif

Skynxnex
Last time i went i found certain things were cheaper than in Switzerland. Â Â Does Switzerland have something similar to the VAT? http://img30.echo.cx/img30/2519/yodavspals4fr0gi.gif
Mad78
Yes we do but when its around 17% in the EU its only 7,5% in Switzerland.Still it happens that i find cheaper stuff in the UK. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
NIIIC
That is probably because general life cost is cheper in UK (exept London) than in Switzerland.

Mad78
Why two? Getting back to the subject of the thread, Iafter seeing the movie i must say that i found Palpatine's "transformation" was rather well rendered. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
Trejiuvanat
The transformation was more a rapid decay corruption by the dark side, and though lightning did hit his face, there are no burn scars, he ages the more lightning he throws at .... ....., giving into infinite power. http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
Guest Scathane
Why two? Well, strictly speaking, we even have three: 19%, 6% and 0%. 19% is the normal VAT percentage. In special cases, however, the lower 6% or 0% is applied. Generally speaking, 6% is applied to: â€¢ providing food and drink (except for alcoholic beverages) • providing agricultural products and services• providing medicine• sales and rental of books and (daily) magazines• providing braille articles for personal use by blind persons• personal transport• rental of holiday lodging and camping sites• admittance to cultural and sports events (museums, concerts, sports matches)• performances by operational artists• services provided by hairdressers• repair of clothing, shoes and bicycles• painting and plastering of homes older than 15 years• providing the opportunity to take part in sports The zero percentage is applied to entrepreneurs who deal with foreign countries. Darth_Rob
I agree. I don't believe that Palpatine's facial scarring/decay had anything to do with Windu. Palpatine let loose all of his bottled up anger (or whatever negative energy he had) and it took its toll on him. Your feeble skills are no match for the power of the Dark Side! My Website http://fp.profiles.us.playstation.com/playstation/psn/pid/BigBadBob113.png
Vero
Keeping the origins of Palpatine a secret I think is for the best. I did read a good fanfiction that someone did..but I cant seem to find the link anywhere. If I find the link again to it I will post it. Palpatine was born and raised on the planet Naboo. So thats why there such a big fuss over a trade federation blockade. It was the Senators home planet. Little did they know that the blockade was part of his Master plan to get the Revenge of the Sith but hey we find out in the new movie. See all 3 prequels were leading up to the Revenge of the Sith....starting with Naboo. Then going on to Clones who made specially with Order 66...which mean Jedi are the new enemies go kill them. In the new movie even *spoiler* he tells the senate that the Jedi try to assinate(sp?) him in his own office. The meaning of the movie is the death of Jedi. That is the ultimate "Revenge of The Sith"
Aenivae_Ikeda
I have to agree with Trej now. After seeing the movie I think the force lightning makes more sense, but I still like the idea of dark side consumption.
