Jahled Posted March 13, 2004 Author Posted March 13, 2004 Shag all of that. My PC has just generated the errors again. I'm off to jump off the highest bridge in walking distance. Or relieve stress the good-old fashioned way; bed after a few levels of Doom! http://www.jahled.co.uk/smallmonkeywars.gif
SWR Staff - Executive Evaders99 Posted March 13, 2004 SWR Staff - Executive Posted March 13, 2004 Your computer is screwed I expect. The dialing problem could be due to a dialer virus... nasty type things. Programs such as AdAware might be able to help you here. But I expect that your computer may have too many problems. I do recommend a good format and reinstall. Keep your firewall and virus scanner up to date, and use those adware cleaners a few times! Lord_La_forge Posted March 13, 2004 Posted March 13, 2004 I do recommend a good format and reinstall. Keep your firewall and virus scanner up to date, and use those adware cleaners a few times! That's what I suggest too, dude. A good old format c: solves everything. But first, try to reinstall you windows. If you have XP installed, you have good chance, that it will repair itself. Or tried it already?
Jahled Posted March 13, 2004 Author Posted March 13, 2004 I'm still in the dark ages of Windows 2000 Pro, dude! I don't have broadband and was told it's not a very good idea to have XP unless you do due to the cascade of viruses online... that may be hogwash, I don't know. Flump! One day i'll rejoin the modern world. http://www.jahled.co.uk/smallmonkeywars.gif
Jahled Posted March 13, 2004 Author Posted March 13, 2004 HA HA HA...btw La-Forge; have some Ninja nonsense! In the kitchen! On the PC! Going to the shops! In the car! At the South Pole Mowing the garden lawn! Or just plain bouncing around and flipping out! If they don't wrok;just give me a PM! http://www.jahled.co.uk/smallmonkeywars.gif
Lord_La_forge Posted March 13, 2004 Posted March 13, 2004 NONSENSE!Jahled, you are WEIRD I love you for that man, I really do! The "in the car" is the best! In reallity, I'm still having a celebrity deathmach with the Lord Protector.. (large file)
Jahled Posted March 14, 2004 Author Posted March 14, 2004 That is simply brilliant! Click here for fluffiness and extreme wooness! But I wonder if our Protector friend heeded the warningsbefore he entered into bouncing combat with you... Now, this may or may not work given I cant be bothered to host it myself, but it's a government information broadcast that is very useful for information concerning Ninjas. Click here to learn the inner secrets of Ninjitsu and why they flip out and kill people. Edit: Ok, no fluffiness uptop; linked wrong one and can't find original Ninja-Panda gif! Zouch! http://www.jahled.co.uk/smallmonkeywars.gif
Lord_La_forge Posted March 14, 2004 Posted March 14, 2004 Jahled! Stop posting such nonsense about us, or I will flip out!!! ....woushhh....
the_mask Posted March 14, 2004 Posted March 14, 2004 I'm still in the dark ages of Windows 2000 Pro, dude! I don't have broadband and was told it's not a very good idea to have XP unless you do due to the cascade of viruses online... that may be hogwash, I don't know.Ahh, it's so relieving to have you back in the picture, dude.Btw, "windows matters not" ... umm, I mean it doesn't matter, wether you got 2k or XP, cause 99% of these viruses and worms work great on both But what Evaders said should keep you safe, just remember what I mailed you once, the thing that happened, when I let down the firewall for 5 mins...Do you still have the links to these two updates I sent you against the Ms-Blaster ? http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/5183/animated9pn.gifhttp://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://www.swrebellion.com/images/banners/rebellionbanner02or6.gif
SWR Staff - Executive Evaders99 Posted March 14, 2004 SWR Staff - Executive Posted March 14, 2004 Windows 2000 Pro is one of the most stable Windows versions. Its the XP core without all the frills. I think you're fine running with it... although if you're using an older computer it will be harder to get drivers and so forth. As mask said, the viruses that affect XP will most likely affect 2000 unless its a feature that 2000 doesn't have. Jahled Posted March 14, 2004 Author Posted March 14, 2004 Dwang! Thanks guys for your continued advice in my blind-quest in the world of PC's! Mask, tomorrow i'll email you regarding the state of affairs... at home now; and subsequently unable to url stuff... but I trust you all checked out John Clease's government information broadcast! Hoopefully with such knowledge we can prevent La_Forge flipping out and killing people... http://www.jahled.co.uk/smallmonkeywars.gif

the_mask Posted March 16, 2004 Posted March 16, 2004 I think the invisible man was the best of them. As for the last one: Sarah Michelle Woooo http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/5183/animated9pn.gifhttp://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://www.swrebellion.com/images/banners/rebellionbanner02or6.gif
Jahled Posted March 17, 2004 Author Posted March 17, 2004 I found this today. I think it's utterly brilliant. The same guy did this as well. (It's fun and games until someone looses an eye!) Oh, and this! Using his powerful Marmot powers, Kev sensed danger, ...probably an eagle high above. Percy couldn't help but wonder how he managed to get himself into this predicament in the first place http://www.jahled.co.uk/smallmonkeywars.gif

Jahled Posted March 18, 2004 Author Posted March 18, 2004 (edited) EXTREME WOO WARNING!!! Never fool around with your lightsaber! Even in the hands of a Jedi professional they can still be very dangerous. Click here for a video with sound; though I couldn't get it to work. Edit: 50 pages! the_mask Posted March 18, 2004 Posted March 18, 2004 -10 ... "ground control to Major Tom" .... This is by far our biggest, most famous and anticipated thread here. Also the power of WOO never seems to stop http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/5183/animated9pn.gifhttp://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://www.swrebellion.com/images/banners/rebellionbanner02or6.gif
Trejiuvanat Posted March 18, 2004 Posted March 18, 2004 Looks like we'll have one more reason for WOOing in the near future, don't we mask? http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif

We may not be the largest Star Wars community in cyberspace but we sure as hell kick butt when it comes to the Woo-Factor*. I've done my idle share of touching base with a few web-based communities over the years, but none have the enduring pull of this one. There's also something quite nice about having friends as far a field as Costa Rica, Germany, Holland, Hungary, and the States... who, despite not having ever met in person, have come to value a great deal over the years. You'll forgive my indulgance of Img spooky cat; it only really works on our nice black back drop! *The Woo-Factor: Is something onlya fellow woo-trooper can understand! Edit: Goodness gracious Woo! Just as I pressed submit this little gem materialzes on my screen! Romance. Edited March 19, 2004 by Jahled http://www.jahled.co.uk/smallmonkeywars.gif
Texas_Fett Posted March 19, 2004 Posted March 19, 2004 Cameron Diaz as a "Woo-Yay" gif...now THAT'S what I'm talkin' 'bout! But Jahled my friend, as far as this board is concerned, don't underestimate the power of Star Wars niche-game fans in numbers.
