I was researching the EU online one day, and started looking up ships on Google. I typed in "Star Wars" + TIE or "Star Wars" + a letter out of the alphabet. I found ships like the TIE Lambda (has one curved wing on one side of the TIE cockpit) the M-Wing New Republic Bomber, K-Wing Starfighter, and I found all of the experimental TIE fighters.

Yeah, I was bored. And no, I don't speak chinese. <-- Look, I didn't even spell it right

I continue to be amazed by the size of the Tie wing arrays. Here's an attempt at the EZ-95 Ugly. Unfortunately you cant really see the E-wing engines because of the Wing array.

I love Uglies, they're great! And i reckon there would be many more of them about in a universe like star wars.

Remember the DIE-Wing?

Yeah Mitth, the Twi'lek Deathseed was a decent fighter. It evenly matched most of it's contemporaries and had slightly better manuvering than that standard X-wing when they were first introduced. I personally dont like that they can't carry missiles but that's only a minor flaw.

Mad I liked your idea. It was remarkably simple to do as well.

I removed the cannons on the regular E-wing in the pic because the topside one was ruining the look of the cockpit canopy.

Upon actually drawing the engines for the E-wing I have realised the ones I made for the EZ-95 Ugly using my memory only, ended up backwards. I still insist that a good upgrade to ANY Z-95 is switching out engines for ones from the E-wing.

Initial limited production varient of the Spade class Blastboat design. Designated the 'A2' Model they used a pair of high power sublight drives origionally intended for the SFS Skipray. Only five were ever built and the production line was raided by Rebels before any of them could be deployed. To counter any subsequent attempts at theft production was moved to a secure facility at Balmorra.

The vehicle designer and prominent member of the Pro Imperial Crusaders ordered an end to production of the A2. The Facilities at Balmorra would instead produce a newly finished B1 design which could carry external missile launchers that could be jettisoned when empty.

EDIT:

I'm thinking it's about time we started an 'Incredible Cross-Sections' thread?

S-Wing Starfighter or Skipray Wing Starfighter

A heavy general purpose starfighter developed by the Rebellion as one of many spin off's of the AB-Wing Ugly. It's speed fails to match that of the XJ X-wing or the older Tie Interceptors but still mounts powerful shields and multiple weapons systems. After introduction this fighter began to see use as a replacement for the far too expensive and difficult to maintain B-wing.

Like the B-wing the weapons systems are heavily modular allowing it to be equipped for multiple roles. Standard configuration calls for 4 laser and 2 Ion Cannon while the "Groundsweeper" equipment package fits the S-wing with nearly a dozen light and heavy repeating blasters.

Fighting is terrible, but not as terrible as losing the will to fight.
