Well thats actually a drawing project. i just let my imagination go free. As often it ends up with something to do with the pure beauty of inter stellar space.

Clouds are a seperate objects, so they can also be easily animated. And the sun is also a seperate object.

@Mad - the planet texture is a mixture of a diffuse texture and a bump map. The cloud also has a bump map to it - which will be more noticable once I animate the whole thing

 

@Fishy - WOW! Those are awesome - and they're just sketches! Do you use a mouse or a talbet for those pics?

I'll have to work on getting a more Star Wars-ish background. If only more people had pictures in as perfect a pose as your Cindy Crawford. It's almost impossible to find a good imaged to fiddle around with!
