0.40 PRERELEASE

ok im having problems with the game, for some reason when i finally get the ships to work, i cant seem to build, my build menu wont show up, and i can only research and fight....my command lines are as follows...

Target: "C:\Program Files\Sierra\Homeworld2-Warlords\Bin\Release\Homeworld2.exe" -mod Warlords0.40PR.Big -luatrace

Start in: "C:\Program Files\Sierra\Homeworld2-Warlords\Bin\Release"

 

i dunno what im doing wrong, sum1 help me i can post ne other info needed, just pwease help meee!

Hmmm, so you installed HW2 into Homeworld2 - Warlords? And you can't get the build menu to appear? Try pushing "b" while in game. If that doesn't work, be sure that you don't have building dissabled in the game options. Not sure why you want it to be, but it's there as an option. Hope you can get it running .

I only noticed one issue, besides the lack of ship icons. docking doesn't work on any ships. The fighters just get into formation with the ship and stay there.

 

I'll try uninstalling HW2 and reinstalling it and see if it's still there.

Hmm, I haven't had any problems with docking. Be sure that A) you don't have the ship to be docked with set to "Auto Launch", and B) that it isn't full.

Both A and B are taken care of. they are set to 'stay docked' and they are freshly built ships with nothing docked to them.

 

might just be something from installing 0.40 on top of an old version.

never mind. it's only docking with the escort carrier that's broken. the rest of the ships seem to work fine.
