But I got so frustrated watching all the fun everyone else was having with the model replacement that I made myself read Mask's tutorial until I halfway understood it. Then I backed up my DLL's, and just got into RH and tried it. And low and behold, it works! I also made a replacement model for the Liberator cruiser, using a 3ds model I downloaded from the Imperial Archives, and Mask's tutorial. It ain't Mask quality, but I'm proud of it. Believe me, if I can do this stuff anybody can. I think with three movies covering the era of the game we've got more than enough footage to cover everything from system blockades (ie: Star Destroyers at Hoth), Systems take-overs (Sandtroopers on Tattooine), and Death Star planet-vamping (>obvious). I'd like to do the same with the damaged indicator images. They're out of place cuz of the new image. How, if possible, can I do that? I believe it was strategy.dll, but you could look up Mask's quick reference guide just to be sure.These are actually pics with the appropriate flares (hyperspace, explosions) which have a blue background (so that it becomes transparent).. Would suggest to copy the ship pic into a blue background (the one for transparency) and scatter your explosions or whatever around it, then delete the ship pic so that you only have the blue background with the explosions.You could copy/paste flares from other ship pics or work them up yourself. I'm a little confused on the 'Including New Fighters' Help file instructions. It mentions that each fighter has nine 'Resource Name' resources under the 'Resource Type' 303 (eg. 4000 - 4009 for the X-wing) yet when I go into the unzipped fighter folders, there are ten .BIN files (eg. two for each; blue, gold, green, red, and neutral). Am I able to drop one of the .BIN files, or...? Also, in regards to the latest fighter, the TIE V-38, there are only five .BIN files. Please instruct me on how to proceed.
