Cool, well given they are according to Mask (was it?), i've just finnished Jedi Knight I again, but this time as a DARK KYLE!!! WoooH!! There's some pretty cool cut-scene footage of a shuttle landing on Coruscant at the end. With a bit of editing that would sure beat the picture of Palpatine 'returning to his throne,' wouldn't you think? Given the significance of having the Emporer on Coruscant (with the increase in leadership), I think the added cut-scene footage would be significant enough for inclusion.

Not that i've got the slightest idea what you guys were originally on about. I don't have 'special access' to the original foram.

TC means Total Conversion, we are making a Total conversion of the original game, that means changing old charactters, pictures, models, and sounds, etc. This TC will be set in the Thrawn period, that means that Palpy and Vader will be dead, and the Imperial main characters will be Thrawn and Joruus C'Baoth.

You can check the forums for all the discussion about the TC, any suggestion will be welcomed. Any talent such like movie editign, model editing will are also welcome.

Sort of... :)

Lucas probably won't make some, and there is some debate as to whether they exist or not, it depends on your sources, Lucas has apparently said several conflicting things.

Lucas says he's written I, II, III, IV, V, VI and that's it. If he makes VII, VIII and IX he will write new plots for them. He did not write any of the books, although he 'approved' them, which basically means he said "yes you can write about that in my creation that is the Star Wars universe."

Tim Zahn wrote the books about thrawn. The Thrawn trilogy and the Hand of Thrawn duology, he is currently working on two novels, one is a ep i -ep ii novel the other is about look and mara and the uknwon regions, that is about three years before vector prime.

It's a book set twenty-one years after the Battle of Endor, it's where the yuuzhan Vong start appearing. The VOng come from outside the SW galaxy, do not exist in the force, and use weird biotechnology.

In this book they kill chewie, and in later books they kill anakin and conquer coruscant.

TK, why do you say it's a non-canon book?

  • SWR Staff - Executive

The New Jedi Order series is fully authorized by Lucas. He was the one that approved the story arc.

Basically, he said he wanted to clear-the-slate of the EU stuff. Probably so he could make Episode 7-9 after... if he lives that long.

Personally, I like the NJO story arc. Everything is unpredictable.

It's quite unpredictable, the Yuuzhan VOng are mysterious in their own way, which make it more interesting. Ihaven't read Destiny's WAy yet, I hope to do it before REmnant is out.

Do you realize you had just spoiled the books for all who haven't read them, and corrupted the minds of innocent poor young children? They will cry day after day... "They killed the furry little fuzzball "

Shame on you man, shame on you!

=================

On the other hand.. why approve something if you are going to scrap it? Episode 7-9 can be quite upgradeable... even a movie or 2 set during the Vong books would be pretty sweet. I'd love seeing all the Yuuzhan Vong ships on the screen :)

I guess he means the new Jedi Order Series.

There are 19 books, starting off with Vector Prime. They have released up to the fourtheenth, Destiny's Way. There have been also two e-books.

The new Jedi Order is set 21 years after the battle of endor.

Go to http://theforce.net/books you may find more comprehensive info there.
