Heya fellas,

It's been a while since I have been able to chat it up with you all, post 60 Standard Minutes threads, and entertain Jahled, Trej, and the rest of you mentals ( ). Just kidding.....

Anyways, my rather un-explained and not-mentioned fall of the face of the earth can be contributed ot the fact of a broadband provider change, and they considered SWR an illegal site that could not be accessed (go figure). Anyways, I am back to my old service after many problems of getting it switched.

And if you all remember, the day I left I was to post an SWR edition of 60 Standard Minutes, well I still have the word document in my folder. So look for it soon, after I get through about 10000 posts. 8O

Feel good to be back, and sorry for the lack of notice, it was un-intentional.

Josh

Don't worry, I won't hurt anyone... :D This is the email I sent them:

Subject: Inquiry

Dear Madam, Sir,

We are a small web community for fans of the game Star Wars Rebellion. One of our members has informed us that as a provider of broadband you seem to consider our website illegal and deny your customers access to our website. I would hereby like to inform you that as a community and website, we do not engage in any illegal activity, nor do we support or otherwise condone our members to do so.

Would you please inform me of the motivations underlying this policy? I would be much obliged.

Kind regards.

Scathane

Otherwise he'll switch to Italian mode and have Vinnie and Salvatore play something on the violins for them :lol::lol:

So, are your problems gone now, AA ? Cause I just informed Evaders after your email to me.

Don Astromech: Vito, any word back from Lodgenet?

Vito: Insults, Don Artoo.

Don Astromech: Salvatore, Vito. Deal with them. And make it look like an accident.

Just my style!

BTW, who are Vito and Salvatore?

Scathane,

I have looked into the issue you mentioned in your e-mail below. Currently, LodgeNet does not restrict access to any web sites that our guests would choose to access from their hotel rooms. We do however restrict access to certain web sites from our corporate systems so that our employees use the Internet for work related tasks.

Like any internet access provider, technical problems can occur but none that I am aware of that would send a message about a particular site being illegal. I would be happy to look into this situation further if you could supply me with some additional details as to what exactly was experienced.

I hope this helps to clarify LodgeNet's position. Thanks for taking the time to contact us.

Sincerely,

Tim Ryan

Special Projects Manager

LodgeNet Entertainment Corporation

So, AA, what exactly happened?
