Well, now that my basement is done being redone, I have full acess to my comp again. So Im back.

And I was thinking of where all my chars are going to be once all the side-plots appear. And this is what I have figured out.

Hirotek - Breaking of the Vagaari (Im assuming Athien will be joining him?)

Seryk - Cycle of the Force (Right up to when he turns to the dark side, and comes back)

Fett and the Madnalorians - Stand Firm (Unless you can figure out a better place to put the mandalorian battlefleet)

And of course, I also control the President of the Vathkree, and Iam already incorperated into that side-story.

Also, i was thinking that Karyn and some Mandalorian commandos could join up with the jedi and help out with covert operations eventually.

I once knew a great man. Nothing got to him, and he always smiled. May he forever rest in peace, knowing fully well that his freinds shall remember him.

Yeah, I have some chars to send to their own expeditions.

Oreton and his Imperial Bunch - Balance of the Empire

Arien Yage - The Vaathkree Affair (Which I am already in).

And it's time for Ulan to go visit his family and get clear of voices in his mind.

Ulan Shai - Cycle of the Force.

Well, we just have to do Thrawn's Funeral and the Introductory RPG is finished. What did you think of Kyp's death 8)

Edit: I really need to learn to read the RP threads before I post. Kyps death was excellent. I was happy to see him be th hardass we all know he could be.

As for Thrawns death, it was far to fast. I was hoping for a more pro-longed battle. Which brings out the question: Is the Timeless one on that replicator? Because if not......

I'm pretty certain he was, Stellar mentioned somewhere that Palpy was in direct command of the Raporan Forces there. And Palpy should eb the only one able to outthink Thrawn.

Kyp's death was very good, fitting for him.

I'll write an Imperial part, just for Oreton's reaction to Thrawn's death.

Yeah well, having Palpy drop ontop of the center of the UDA formation with six Replicators makes it pretty short. One volley from each and you can kiss most of the fleet goodbye.

1st Combined United Defense Alliance Fleet, roughly a third of the entire UDA's effective strength was destroyed over Ord Mantell.

Talk about knocking the UDA back into the outer rim to lick their wounds. The GFFA will feel very alone in the Stand Firm campaign I think.

Poor them... With UDA licking wound, Imps struggling for inner stability, Chiss gone, who will they turn to? Hapans? Ewoks?:lol::lol:

Ok, I think we are all away from Ord Mantell and can get the funeral going. Ive set up the mandalorains to join up with the GFFA soon to help them out.

As for operation Chases' End, all in due time.

OOC: Hey now, my warships never entered the fight!! That, and I think only Thrawn would know what a mandalorian warship m,ight look like. Oreton would have no idea that the mandalorians even have a warfleet....

Oreton was on the surface of Ord Mantell long enough to witness the Mandalorian Maneuver with the ship they came in. I'd think we could say that if he sees some more ships with similar characteristics to take them for Mandalorians... As for your warships in the battle... Well, that's my mistake. But we all know Mandalorians wouldn't sit idle if a battle was going on. Just like the Imps thehy were the back-up that came too late.

As for that shadowy operation... I'm curious. By the way what happened to that female character you (re?)introduced a while back?

Okay, Ill give you that one. Those last few posts did all get messed up pretty bad though.

Lets just get that thread ended so that we can move on.

On a seperate note, where is everyone else?

I guess that what happens when a battle gets too prolonged. There was even a Threepio mention, though he is with Luke and Mara on the other side of the galaxy. 8O

As for everyone else. No idea... I think Mad's on vacation, and I haven't seen Darky in a pretty long time. I think between the three of us we can close down the Intro RPG. And hope more people come around for the sub RPs

Ask nicely, and I may give you a hint on the shadow operation. The name of it, and the world they are on, should be hints enough for the learned star wars fan.

Edit: This operation will not be limited to this single world either. It just starts on this world.

As for the female, I just did that to show how far the Timeles one was going to try and cause problems, and at the same time, eliminate possible threats to his victory. And it was Daala, by the way.

And it was Daala, by the way.

I had guessed as much.

As for that planet, would you pretty please give all of us some information?

It's a ice planet, in remote area, and the freighter's there by orders of the Galactic Alliance. There are some restrictions for the planet, and there was once a structure under the ice. I'd say Hoth, because that's the only one I can think of that fits into the logic here. It wouldn't be Alzoc III cause it's inhabited and it probably isn't Ilum, though that make an interesting setting.

I'd think that that ice planet will eventually turn into a refugee world when more Aklasp enter the scene.

Um, BS you've probably scene a mandalorian ship. You know the Pursuer Enforcement Ship that Boba Fett bought (Slave II), its a MandalMotors Design, which is a well known MANDALORIAN firm. I guess the Mandalorians weren't as hidden as we thought.

There are still a few other Ice planets some where in the galaxy

As for Thrawn and Kyp's death... Kyp's was perfect, and Thrawns was Waaaay too short, Thrawn was one of my favorite characters, even from back in the TIE95 days. I wish he was going to be recloned. But I think for such an important chacter, his death was too short. He should at least have a cloning tank ready for him.

You know, I forgot all about that company. man that messes with the story I have built so far. Dag-nabbit!!

Oh yes, and on that one little operation.....

Operation Chases' End

During the war with the Vong, one thing became painfully clear to the highest members of the GFFA and Imperial militaries. They seemed to have a very difficult time adapting to alien technologies, especially in the middle of a war. This seeming inability to quickly adapt cost the lives of billions of people. And even when they did manage to adapt, the enemy found way to better their own technology. Admiral Kre'Fey, Grand Admiral Pelleon, and even the Chiss constantly found themselves playing catch-up, all the while being forced to use tactics of attrition to win battles.

With the outbreak of the war with the Repora, The GFFA has once again found itself woefully outmatched by their enemies. But this time, the technological gap was much more extreme, to a point that Kre'Fey realised that trying to catch up would take far to long. It was then that he came up with a risky plan to overcome this problem. Instead of trying to adapt to their technology, Kre'Fey would simply outfit his warfleets with better alien technology.

Kre'Fey knew for a fact that the technology was out there, the New Republic, GFFA, and the Empire had all run into it on numerous occasions. But quite often they had never taken the time to study it fully for one reason or the other. Kre'Fey decided it was tiem to change that fact. He went to Cal Omas with his plan, and was asked how he was going to finance such a massive, not to mention possibly fruitless, operation. Kre'Fey thought about it, then said one thing. He said the dead would pay for it.

Since the outbreak of the war, billions of sencients had already been left dead fromthe destruction of so many worlds. And because of this, trillions upon trillions of credits were left floating around in bank accounts across the galaxy. Kre'Fey reasoned that since the dead had no use for the credits, they could be put to use trying to help defeat the enemy that had killed so many people. Cal Omas at first balked at the idea, then realised the poetic justic of the plan. The Repora would be defeated not only by the living, but by the dead. He agreed to the plan.

Soon, an army of slicers was brought in to begin diverting credits out of accounts of known casualties to new, hidden accounts. These accounts quickly grew to enormous proportions, more than enough to finance the operation. Not long afterwards, dozens of the galaxies best scientists, linguists, and excavaction teams were dispatched to hunt down alien technology that was hidden across the galaxy.

Kre'Fey named the operation Chases' End, to signify the fact that the GFFA was done chasing their enemies technolgy, and was instead intent on being the chased for once.

Oh, it gets worse than that. I have more than just them in mind. If the GFFA gets ahold of some alien technology that has been written about already, the Repora wont know what hit them.

The Qella? You know the ship Lando was chasing!

Yah, the Teljkon Vegabond. The ship that could electrocute other vessels right through their sheilds, has laser-like weaponary that had a range well over anything that the GFFA, UDA, or Repora currently have, and basically was a general pain in the backside to deal with. And thats just the weapons it sported. Imagine what other goodies might be on that planet.

As for the funeral, it was short, and to the point. I like that. And it set up the start of all the sub-plots very well. Its time to tget this show n the road. Assuming, of course, that people come back. We have lost quite a few already.

Unfortunately at the end of the series the Qella turned out to be only hybernating and the planet was heated to the point of achieving a temperate atmosphere.

I think you're going to need to change your post somewhat, or maybe we should just ignore it.

Well, I'm back from holiday, although I go away for another two weeks on thursday, I'd like to get all of my starting information (character etc.) figured out now.

You mentioned the need for Vagaari and Raporan characters in your post answering my questions, the Rapora don't really attract me (something about reptiles maybe...) I couldn't find any info in the encyclopedia regarding the Vagaari though so I have some questions:

  • What do they look like?

What are their characteristics, their racial traits as it were: what are they like, traditions, organisation etc?

How do they integrate, you mention trying to break free, does that mean they are freedom fighters against the Rapora or is that just a small fraction of them?

Any addition info you could give would be great, as soon as I decide what to do I'll PM you my character and what I plan to do...many thanks for you help and time.

Posted here as requested...

I've just remembered i've got a signature!
